Today I was elected the Deputy Chairman (NDC South West). It is a great honour to serve in our great Party, the Nigeria Democratic Congress. It is not out of place to say that NDC's first ever National Convention is the best and one of its kind. I am delighted to have led a strong and coordinated South West and Lagos delegation to the NDC National Convention in Abuja, where party stakeholders gathered to discuss the future of the party ahead of the 2027 general elections. She also joined other party leaders in welcoming dignitaries, stakeholders, lawmakers, youth groups, and supporters from across the country to the convention. Binani and Marafa came to NDC because Peter Obi and Musa Kwankwaso were coming to the NDC. Saying that you are qualified to run for the presidency is a joke taking too far, if you are qualified to run, why did you give the ticket to Peter Obi and Musa Kwankwaso?. If this is the mentality you used in running the affairs of Bayelsa state for 8 years, then I am afraid but let me tell you that NDC is not Bayelsa state and we have heard from you saying we should go and form our own party, if an illiterate like you can form a political party, then the Obidient movement will form a political party in the coming months. When I realised Kwankwaso was up to something serious was when he revealed that he consulted Northern stakeholders about 2027 and the unanimously agreed that Peter Obi is their candidate. And when I saw this video of Kwankwaso introducing Peter Obi to key leaders of the Kwankwasiyya movement and some Northern stakeholders, I understand how invested Kwankwaso is in the OK ticket.
