A week or so ago - I found some leftover Destiny prototype code in Halo: Reach (MCC and 360) which allowed for double and triple jump and I was able to fix it up. I asked Zoephie to check if this code was left in Halo Campaign Evolved, surprisingly... show more

So I played Halo Campaign Evolved on a CRT TV and it was an absolute treat to play it like that! Truly nostalgia evolved! The game surprisingly looks pretty good while also have that retro feel on a CRT TV. #Halo Full video on my channel!

It was just something special man. I didn't really grow up with Halo and only became a fan through MCC in 2020. But I totally get it, even in small mid-mission moments like this Bungie Halo is just a timeless experience.

Here's the Fuel Rod Cannon in action in Halo Campaign Evolved! I'd say it pretty much works exactly as you'd expect it to. First time being able to use it in a Halo CE campaign (without modding lol) is pretty cool too! #Halo

FYI Adam Crockett may be the only OG Halo dev who worked on Campaign Evolved. He developed cinematic animations and modeled Pilar of Autumn for Combat Evolved between 2001-2002, and hand key framed gameplay and cinematic animations for Campaign Evolved. Someone asked him if he was the only one who worked on Combat Evolved and Campaign Evolved, and Adam says he thinks so. I included his Campaign Evolved work reel. #Halo

✨ A dream I had finally came true: I can now chat directly with my sites to build any feature or fix any bug just via Telegram I've been playing with OpenClaw for 3 weeks now and it's great but I was always too scared to run it on any production server And I was right a bit as Marc Köhlbrugge was able to hack it by social engineering and acting as if it was me, and with enough tries it believed him, and was able to modify the server, change SSH keys etc. of course I had it isolated properly on its own VPS and it didn't touch anything sensitive (as it should!) Marc then reported that bug to Peter Steinberger 🦞 who patched it fast But I wanted to try something more basic and simple, and I think maybe more secure: to just connect Claude Code on my server to Telegram which would be hard locked to only messages from me So I installed claude-code-telegram by Richard Atkinson on the server and run it as a system daemon and it works really well The cool thing is that I was already using Telegram for server errors like this: > Photo AI - ❌ Random credits giveaway failed (Attempt 30/30) with an exception: SQLSTATE[HY000]: General error: 5 database is locked So now I can just reply, "Ok fix this", and Claude Code on the server in production will try (and probably succeed) in fixing it In the video below I asked it to make show [🌳 Parks ] on the map by default on load, it did that, then I reloaded the page and it instantly worked One thing it still needs is sending actual messages while it's doing stuff which OpenClaw does really well, it's annoying to just wait while it says "Working..." but that's probably next

Tried to make the Halo Infinite Energy Sword feel like a cross between the Halo 2 and Halo Wars cinematic versions when I brought it to MCC. Thoughts?

Working at the pizza place I’ve had some weird requests. Like this man here who didn’t have a stove and took some eggs to McDonald’s and asked them to cook it for him which surprisingly they did. He did pay her very well for the favor. I had a man come in who claimed that his electric was off because of the storm and he was in the middle of cooking a lasagna. He wrapped it up and brought it in and asked if I could cook it for him after he explained the circumstances. At first I was thinking I shouldn’t do it, I remember hearing it was against health code but I was in a good mood and many people did lose power so I decided to do it. I even added a little extra cheese on top and through in some garlic bread for free. The man knows I didn’t have to help him and most places wouldn’t but was gracious I did. I ended up gaining a long time customer with that gesture. I remember he came in one time to pick up a pizza and I ran out of cigarettes. I offered him money to run across the street for me to get some smokes. He said he would but he wouldn’t take my money saying he owed me a favor anyways.

I was wondering if Claude could play Doom. So I asked Replit on my phone: - it downloaded Doom - Ran it through VNC - Hacked screenshots and commands - Integrated Claude It works! But it’s slow/died too fast so I asked it for God Mode and now it’s able to defeat some enemies!

Had a lot of requests for this so here's the Battle Rifle in action in Halo Campaign Evolved! I don't use precision weapons often as you all know...😆But gameplay-wise it feels fine to me. One thing though is I do wish it had a stronger, more classic BR sound effect to it. #Halo

Finished Halo Campaign Evolved. Still need to finish coop with my daughter and collect all skulls etc but my main thoughts are...... This was excellent. It captured the feel of that og game really well, it looks gorgeous, and it reminded me that Halo is a goated game series. Fantastic work Halo

Look what I found in Dabo’s office. It looked beat up and I asked him if he was reading it.

Every remaster should have this. Being able to instantly toggle between the original and Anniversary graphics is one of the coolest things Halo has ever done. Imagine if Halo Campaign Evolved let you switch between all three: the original 2001 graphics, Anniversary, and the brand-new visuals. I know that would be impossible with a completely new engine, but man, it would’ve been epic. Also… I just realized the sound effects swap with the visuals too. Can’t wait to jump into Halo Campaign Evolved tomorrow. Expect a flood of posts! 🚀

In true classic Halo fashion, a few friends and I managed to perform what's probably the first ever successful launch to the top of the tower on Silent Cartographer in Halo Campaign Evolved! Co-op is going to be so much fun! #Halo

This should flip and go the other way if you stare at it for a bit! I love open source... a couple of days ago I posted the code to this Dyson Ring that I wrote, but I couldn't quite get the illusion right. Today, Sean Lavery checked in a double-sided rendering and some other changes that really sell it. Code is at based on a demo by Joseff
