A while back I played some browser game where you can only shoot straight (IIRC it's called doomscroll) and I was curious how it'd feel in a 3D perspective, so I gave it a quick try. Feels a bit wrong not being able to aim left/right at the enemiesthough...

i found the code for this in the files!! it's in an object called obj_bushjump, it's a bit broken by default due to the assets being moved at some point and a bit of the code being fucked with/deleted for some reason, but i was able to fix it

Here's a quick peek at Abi mixing traversal and combat in #Rewilders. 🎯Ranged enemies try to track your movement and land their shots. We want players to be able to dodge them, but not without a challenge. Do you think their aim feels right? Or are they too easy to avoid right now? 🤔 #ThrowbackThursday #TBT #gamedev #indiedev #indiegamedev

Took a bit of refactoring but finally the cloth physics works on multiple units (it's mostly been a hack job for one unit only thus far) #gamedev #indiedev

No literally, like the doctor was such a cool character and his death was so disappointing, I know they brought him back but I can guarantee you it's only because people were mad at how quick his death was

The game has become a bit faster-paced, but you can control the pace through your playstyle. I also had my first speedrunner test it, which was a lot of fun to watch. #gamedev #indiegame #indiedev #trailertuesday #cozy

made a prototype to see how it feels, and i kinda like it not promising this is gonna be out anytime soon, but curious if it's something you'd be interested in? if so, it'd need to go through design and engineering so they can think about it holistically. some things look simpler on the surface than they actually are!

I stopped being a big NBA fan at the end of the 1990s. I came back to it in the last few years. I feel like I came back to something that is a fundamentally different game. It's almost not the same sport. This simply didn't exist back in the 1990s.

Can't stop thinking about the art style Desimulate created so I tried to create it in Three.js to see if I could achieve a similar look and feel. I think I got pretty close with some careful pixel art billboarding and lighting. But there's some limitations to getting this particular perspective right so it would only work in environments where you limit where the player can walk to. Vibe coded on Grok 4, Claude Sonnet using Cursor.

Had a dream last night -probably from playing Slash Beast’s stage in X4- Where I was playtesting a train level in Hayaku, so I had to make it real. Basically just testing out some new tiles. Wishlist: #gamedev #indiegame #indiedev

🐶 i think i'd be able to do the things i want to do in 2026. right now, i'm preparing hard for our unit concert. since it's a unit concert and not with the whole group, i feel a bit nervous but it seems like a new challenge so that is my goal as of now.

How I layer the baggie on the belt! I clipped the texture to the base and have the texture extend beyond where you can see it so the rigger can manipulate the texture and lineart later to get a 3D feel.

Building a dungeon. Love how it looks and feels. What do you expect from such a game? (Keep in mind it is still a spicy game after all). I don't want to make super hardcore puzzles. I just want it to feel atmospheric, but not like a challenge, more like a fun bit. Any ideas, feedback and suggestions are welcome!

Today was my last day at Magic Design Studios. I met super cool and talented people, and I feel like I learned a lot! It's time to move on, and work full time on this game! #indiedev #gamedev #indiegame #madewithunity #unity3d #pixelart #ドット絵

Duck model update! I thought I'd simply add moving wings.. how hard could it be? 💀 Three weeks later I think it's finally working and I'm so happy. I also changed the proportions a bit, and added eyelids and tail wiggle! #screenshotsaturday #gamedev #indiedev

So I need some help. If you can tell the difference between left and right, which one do you prefer? I have a strong bias on this, obviously! #gamedev #solodev #indiegame #mazestalker
