Upgrade for physical owners on switch 2?

Big supporter of your game here. So much so that I purchased a physical copy of the game. Imagine my disappointment when I put the cart in my Switch 2 today to realize I am not eligible for an upgrade. From a customer perspective, this is a big disappointment.

Thanks to the team for all the hardwork over the years. This studio doesn't miss. I will be there for every new game release. (Moonerang top tier.)

Any plans in on releasing switch 2 cartridge version that will have full package from all update, content, DLC & etc for this to be last updated?

I bought Sea of Stars switch version twice in physical. The Asia English release and the iam8bit edition. It sucks that there is no upgrade path or discount for physical owners. This is so disappointing...

Got the Switch 2 version for free since I already owned the Switch version, now I can have a copy for both my Switch 2 and my Switch OLED. Can’t wait for your next game.

I hope they can figure out a way for physical owners to upgrade to Switch 2 in a way that doesn't need a staff member to have to hand out codes themselves on a Discord. Would love to get the upgrade myself of course, but I don't want to bother anyone. Signed a fan from NZ 😅
