A working day for Mei final video, short version Hey, I hope you are doing amazing ^^. Here is the final short version of this little Mei project taking place somewhere in the Entity's brothel long after Mei's Corruption part 01 ^^. (Full 01:30 min 2K/4K + alt VA... version you know where Sound Design and Music by Mathieu Hellot Mei's Voice : 🔞 Midnight Datura ) As always I'll post the full version in public in a few weeks ^^. I know this is my cutest/happiest video so far and it was nice to work on but don't get used to it, it's an exception 😈. Story wise, Mei is at servant level here, working in one of the Brothel's room, studying as she is waiting for clients. As a Servant slave she is perfectly qualified to work in pretty much all of the Brothel's rooms. 🙏🏿 this is the stuff of beautiful dreams really🙏🏿 I first met MamLetta almost 30yrs ago officially at a dinner to launch a place they called “Back of the Moon” here in Jozi. All the legends were there, I mean all of them, and little me of course. I was always in rooms I was too small to be in but felt so at home there. I chased her down a passage and sang “Tristeza”, telling her it was my favourite of her songs. She was shocked that I not only knew her music, but that I know that song in particular. She has an astounding discography and her kindness and gentle mentorship have carried me through the 30 sum years I have been in this business. She influenced everyone. If you listen to the opening of Mamani you might hear what you would later hear in the voice of Busi Mhlongo. She is an integral part of the South African voice and technique. #LettaMbulu

American Surgeon shows the actual letter from UnitedHealthcare DENYING a patient in emergency condition from receiving care “This is a woman who was in the emergency room with pulmonary embolisms” “I think we all knew this would happen. I had another patient come in and share with me that UnitedHealthcare denied her inpatient's day. So this is a patient who had shortness of breath and some chest pain, and she just knew that something wasn't right in her body. She had a family history of blood clots and she'd had a deep flap surgery a couple of weeks ago. She went to the hospital and they saw her and they found that she had a life threatening condition known as pulmonary embolisms. So she was admitted to the hospital and taken care of really well by the doctors there. And they ordered all the right things. After a couple of days, she was discharged. She got a letter from UnitedHealthcare explaining that they didn't agree with the level of her care and that they would not cover it. So I'm gonna share some of the language of that letter with you, and I want you to know that my patient that we talked about previously who had her surgery denied had almost exactly the same letter shared. So there's some troubling things in this letter. I think this term is really interesting. United is saying they reviewed the request for inpatient admission. So let's all just pause and consider that. This is a woman who was in the emergency room with pulmonary embolisms, and the doctor wasn't really requesting anything. They were saying this patient needs to be in the hospital. But an insurance company sees this as a request, and that's part of this prior auth environment that we're living in. So I think it's important as patients and as physicians to just acknowledge that this is our reality now. Someone can think that there's a good medical decision for you and can write orders and wanna do the right thing for you, but your insurance company is seeing that as a request and deciding whether or not they wanna do it. One of the criteria that this insurance company used to decide whether or not to accept or deny this request was whether it's medically necessary. And it's so interesting that we're letting insurance companies and the doctors who work for insurance companies determine what's medically necessary and not just the doctor in front of the patient in the emergency room. So this is a really bold statement from UnitedHealthcare for my patient. They say you did not have to be admitted as an inpatient to the hospital for this care. I think we all need to just reflect on that. An insurance company is telling a patient and her doctor that they disagree with the plan of care to keep that patient safe. I know that this is boiling down to whether it's an inpatient admission or an observation admission, and that's really about money. But what I wanna point out to you is they're making medical decisions. This insurance company is actually weighing in and disagreeing with a doctor who made a medical decision to admit this patient for her safety. So this specific sentence, when a doctor or facility treats a patient above the recommended level of care, we cannot cover it. What the heck? That's what we do. We go above and beyond as physicians. It's clear that insurance companies don't, and they're actually saying it here.”

When I saw the mask "Tribes of the Calf" from Kanbas I knew I had to make it into reality. The jewelry and gold really made it stand out for me. Since Sam Spratt's The Masquerade was revealed, I have been spending time sculpting and dissecting the mask to recreate it in 3D as faithfully as possible. I delved into the creation of this mask for many reasons. I love a good challenge and this mask surely was one for me. Creating something in 3D from a 2D image is not easy, and especially when the source has generative nature, some stuff is hard to interpret, but I tried my best to make sure the visual integrity of the mask is as close to the original as possible. Splitting the whole mask into parts, filling the missing pieces so I can build the textures was quite a lot of work. I tried to present the mask in my own style with a slightly different colorway to adapt to the mask itself. Please enjoy this short animation, and turn on sound🔊 This piece is my statement that I am here to stay. That I have a voice that often feels being lost in the void. That I have been creating and posting digital art for over 20 years now and will continue until I'm gone. I have a story to tell and I want to be heard. The space we have here is small, and is shrinking day by day. It doesn't have to be like that. We need to support each other and push ourselves and people here, otherwise we are all doomed. As Kanbas has put in their observation of the mask: "Inspirational. Emotional. Natural." This is what our space can be, and this is me making a statement with this homage. I will share a 4k still below as well as a short video showing the 3D GLB interactive model together with a yt link to the 4k video since compression here is pretty bad.

My goal for Project Ringfall is to highlight what makes Halo Infinite unique and fun, while also making changes in areas often discussed here in the Halo community. Along the way, I'll be talking about my own design philosophy, breaking down my approach to tuning weapons and player abilities, as well as sharing my design documents as I go! This Version Of VeryDarkMan Yesterday I saw a version of VDM that I have always wanted to see. A man who just doesn't criticize the government, but one who wants to be committed to changing it. For a person that I have openly criticized numerous times, it is a good thing to see this very evolution and version of him. It all trickles down to what I have always said, Everyone MUST be involved in Politics, because whether you like it or not, POLITICS is Interested in you! Long may it continue!

Perplexing to me that we have a 2 YO dead, & another mother in the hospital who failed at self-harm, and a homicide investigation underway where the "Mom" of the toddler is the suspect and people still don't believe Lindsay's case is inspiring copycats & copycat defenses. How long can PPP be used as an excuse? I thought it was weeks? Is it months? Is it years, now? Expect, as I said from the beginning, more and more of this. And let me quell the suspense...Dollars to Donuts she was taking a bunch of prescription meds that she chose to take so she could feel happy. #Illinois #LindsayClancy

Very hard to make each one of these, but this is the culmination of 10 years of research and development that we've done to basically miniaturize all the Computing that you need to have glasses—not a headset—but glasses that can put full Holograms into the world with a wide field of view. So you can imagine sort of in the future we'd be having a version of this conversation where, you know, maybe I or you are not even here. It's like one of us is physically here and the other one is here as a kind of a full body hologram. And it's not just a video call; you can actually interact, you can do things.

We thought you might like to meet Luna, the girl who was starved and dumped in Wigan last week 💔 She is doing well, her spirit is strong and she is such a sweetheart 🥰 In the last 2 weeks we have helped two dumped dogs, Luna and Bramble. It is a sign of the times, all the rescues are full and the pounds are full to overflowing. So this film is for the ones who are not as lucky as Luna. If just one person offers a home to a rescue dog rather than buying a puppy it will have been worthwhile. We hope it will be many more 🙏Lots of people aren't aware dogs are dying here in the UK and we have to try and be their voice.

Shes had KFC plenty of times back in the UK, but now she’s in the states she wants to try it assuming it’s going to be better than the version she’s used to since it originated here. She was quite shocked with the outcome when she tried it, but I was not. Many countries ban much of the harmful chemicals in food that we still use. Much of the time it’s more wholesome ingredients. For me this is a slap in the face. KFC originated here so why do the other countries get the better version. I know many companies may adapt the recipes for local tastes but for me this is not acceptable. If other countries have a better and healthier version, I feel we should be serving that across the board. I don’t know if we should be supporting a company that doesn’t put us first. It’s shocking that our food is lower quality. This makes me wonder if all the American restaurants over sees are following the same formula as well and we are stuck with the short end of the stick.
