I’ve known of this writing for years, and I’ve made reference to it and others. The evidence for Jesus Christ being real is insurmountable. He is the creator of all that exists, and His words will never disappear. His kingdom will never end.

Josephus was not the only extrabiblical source. Roman historian Tacitus  (56 AD – 120 AD) is another one.

You should read the Book of Isaiah written 700 years before Jesus yet it prophesies Jesus work and even his crucifixion on a cross which wasn't even invented at that time.

Writings about Jesus from around 91 AD primarily come from the Jewish historian Flavius Josephus, who included references to Jesus in his work "Antiquities of the Jews." In this text, he describes Jesus as a wise man & the Messiah, mentioning His crucifixion under Pontius Pilate

I think it’s generally acknowledged by scholars that this is most probably a later insertion into the writings of Flavius Josephus by later Christian scribes.

Unfortunately most of what he read was most likely an added forgery many years later. We do know the original writing of Josephus and it at least tells us there was a Jesus of Nazareth killed by the Romans that brought forth the Christians. Still an amazing external source.

This was from Josephus. Scholars believe this passage to be false and not written by him.

"Now there was about this time Jesus, a wise man, [[ if it be lawful to call Him a man;]] for He was a doer of wonderful works, a teacher of such men as receive the truth with pleasure. He drew over to Himself both many of the Jews and many of the nations. [[ He was the Christ.]] And when Pilate, at the suggestion of the principal men among us, had condemned Him to the cross, those that loved Him at first did not abandon Him; [[ for He appeared to them alive again the third day, as the divine prophets had foretold these and ten thousand other wonderful things concerning Him.]] And the tribe of Christians, so named from Him, are not extinct at this day."

It's a forgery. Nobody ever heard of this passage till Eusebius 313-326 in his fairy tale "Church History". Apologists LIE BY OMISSION. "This passage is first quoted by Eusebius (fl. A.D. 315) in two places (Hist. Eccl., lib. i, c. xi; Demonst. Evang., lib. iii); but it was UNKNOWN to Justin Martyr (fl. A.D. 140), Clement of Alexandria (fl. A.D. 192), Tertullian (fl. A.D. 193), and Origen (fl. A.D. 230). Such a testimony would certainly have been produced by Justin in his apology or in his controversy with Trypho the Jew, had it existed in the copies of Josephus at his time. The silence of Origen is still more significant. Celsus, in his book against Christianity, introduces a Jew. Origen attacks the argument of Celsus and his Jew. He could not have failed to quote the words of Josephus, whose writings he knew, had the passage existed in the genuine text. BS If it was written in 91AD, it would not use the word Judea and certainly not the name Jesus. The letter J did not exist. This book and video is a fraud.

It's called the "testimonium flavianum" and there is mountains of literature on this. The debate is over how much of it is forged. I agree with the 100% forgery school, most likely inserted by Eusebius. Spend time with the lit and come to your own conclusions.

What’s really fckd up is that there’s no significant archeological evidence showing he ever existed. Not even in the Smithsonian Institution. However, we have evidence of everything else that did before and after him….. somethin ain’t right.
