I took him to the school myself and he was hale and hearty only for the school to call us to come to the hospital. On getting there, the school said my son ch0ked on his food (beef) and they told the doctor to say the child died in the hospital whereas he d!ed inside the school premises because the doctor told us himself. There was an incident in Edmonton Canada at a school where a child was attacked. The school went on lockdown with alarms but after a while they started to play what some would say is calming music. This student was in a bathroom away from the incident and recorded it. Do you think the music helps or will these kids associate it with the fear they felt that day? It’s such a touchy subject.

Whilst on a visit to Kralpora, found out about a PTM event in the higher secondary school Lone Harrai. This is the school where my father studied up till Class 8th. I went in there and this is the best thing that I could have done. I could actually visualise my father’s childhood. It was in emotional visit. My prayers for the students there. May they do well in life and be some great human beings and successful persons.

SAD NEWS — A 17-year-old final-year student at Asanteman Senior High School and a WASSCE candidate in the Ashanti Region, identified as Harrison, tragically died from electrocution in Meduma, Kwabre East District. The incident occurred on Friday, May 8, 2026, during a heavy rainstorm. Harrison had returned home from school, plugged in his iPhone 6 to charge it, and was using the device while it was still connected to the power source. A lightning strike nearby reportedly triggered a power surge that traveled through the charger, electrocuting him instantly and causing severe burns around his neck and ears. His body was later taken to the morgue, and the police have initiated an investigation into the matter.

When I arrived at WJ Mouat for my book launch, students were evacuated from the school and directed to the west playing fields, as in a fire emergency, and told to go home. A few students later returned to the school to be picked up by parents. I was judged an immediate threat.

Remember the video from Amroha, UP where a principal Avneesh Sharma of Hilton convent school was openly accusing a 7 year old boy of breaking temples and converting Hindus? Latest update is, The school principal has now officially joined BJP. Is this to save himself and his school so that administration doesn't take any action against him and his school? Soon after the video went viral, A three-member committee constituted on the orders of the District Magistrate. The investigation committee has admitted that the principal used inappropriate language with the student and his mother. But till now no action has been taken by the administration against the principal or the school or the owner of the school.

Good morning Crime Watch. I received this message from a ward WhatsApp group. There is a primary school named Sufficient Grace Academy in Victory Park, Kadoma. I often see young children being made to work instead of learning. Today, they were carrying bricks using a wheelbarrow in very hot weather. I tried to speak to a teacher who was in the school yard giving instructions to the children, but she did not respond to me. While standing near this school, I asked a woman who was nearby abut this situation and she said they are afraid to speak out because their children might be expelled from the school. I am sharing this here so the children can get help. It looks like abus€. I don’t think any parent would agree for children of that age to be treated like this, especially in such hot conditions.
