Yesterday, H.E. John Dramani Mahama was in my beloved Ningo-Prampram Constituency - Afienya to be precise to cut sod for the start of his audacious US$10 billion Big Push Initiative. To be the first project warms my heart and speaks volumes of his unwavering commitment to our Constituency. In this first phase, 32 roads across the Country have been earmarked for completion within 24 months. I am delighted that 4 of 32 roads are in the Ningo-Prampram Constituency. The Tema Roundabout - Central University road, the Dawhenya - Afienya - Dodowa road, the Ashaiman Roundabout - Asikuma Junction road and the Afienya - Appolonia - Oyibi road have all been captured, awarded, and work is commencing. My joy is boundless. These roads have been a source of constant pain and worry during my first two terms serving as Member of Parliament, and despite my best efforts in 8 years under then President Nana Akufo-Addo, we had no joy nor glimmer of hope. However, these projects have come to light in barely 8 months of the Hope Giver, the Nation Builder, the Promise Keeper - John Dramani Mahama. On behalf of my Chiefs and people, I express my heartfelt gratitude to the President for keeping his word and promise from our final campaign rally at the Afienya bus terminal in October 2024. Even as I am on official assignment in the Orient, I am grateful to #TeamDzata, led by Chairman Issah Adamu Vanguard and my indefatigable DCE, Raphael Uriel Nartey, for holding the fort and giving the President a typical Dzata welcome. To my Brother and Colleague, kwame agbodza, thanks for everything. I really appreciate everything you have done and would continue to do. I'd be back for a few more roads. Abi, you know dadaa. In his LATE 40's my FATHER was the ONLY DAD running full court hoops with us in high school. I always knew I was so blessed to have that KIND OF DAD as a kid. But as I’ve aged, I appreciate even more the sacrifices he made & the way he CHOSE to live his life in order to do this. My dad’s 67 now. Last year he set a 3 year goal to hit 100,000 MILES run in his lifetime. (He needs 1,400 a year & I am certain he will hit it!) He swapped an alcohol addiction for a fitness addiction at 26 & I’m forever grateful. To this day my friends refer to him as the LEGEND! This is why at 41 (tomorrow) I’m still gonna beat my kids in races & train hard so I’m able to follow his LEGACY. 🙏❤️ LOCKED IN STRONG DADS WILL CHANGE THE WORLD. Dads, It would be the biggest shame in the world if your children only HEARD stories of you being in shape, athletic, pursuing excellence & NEVER WITNESSED IT. Day ONE can be today. 🤝

Now that the dust has settled on Bruno Guimaraes' move to Arsenal, I think it's fair to say that every Newcastle United fan is entitled to feel whatever way they want about him. To see him leave the club and still be in the Premier League is going to hurt, so I get all viewpoints on this situation. For me, it's not quite like Isak, but he has tarnished his legacy by hiring Kia Joorabchian, turning up the pre-season camp a few days late, but mainly because after the first poor season since his arrival, he's away. And as the captain of Newcastle United and someone who made himself out to be different to the rest, I would like the skipper to put himself to one side and have given us one more top year to help the new lads settle in and realise the club is in a tricky situation. I think then everyone would have wished him well in whatever he decided to do next. I just expected more from Bruno after the way he went on during his time on Tyneside. #NUFC

I have seen some desperate NPP propagandists share a video of the Upper West Regional Hospital, with the claim that it was started by Former President Kufour and completed by President Akufo-Addo. Although the history of the Upper West Regional Hospital is well-known and a matter of public record, it is important to set the records straight so that unsuspecting Ghanaians are not hoodwinked by this dubious propaganda. 1. The 160-bed Upper West Regional Hospital project was one of the nine (9) hospitals which were awarded to Euroget De Invest in the year 2010 by the Government of Ghana. 2. The project was conceptualized and initiated by the Kufour government as part of what is called “The Hospitals Project”. Euroget De Invest was engaged by the Government of Ghana to design and build 8 hospitals for the Ministry of Health and 1 hospital for the Ministry of Defense. 3. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by the Government of Ghana and Euroget De Invest for the nine (9) hospital projects in April 2008. 4. Cabinet gave approval for the Euroget hospital projects on 29th October 2008. 5. On 12th November, 2008, the Parliament of Ghana approved the loan for the Euroget hospital projects, an amount of $339 million dollars which was to be sourced from Egypt. The Kufour government was then voted out of office. See 6. The contracts for the projects were signed between the Mills government and Euroget in 2010. 7. On 31st July, 2010, then Vice President of the Republic of Ghana, H.E John Dramani Mahama cut the sod for the Upper West Regional Hospital. 8. However, construction of the project could not commence due to the inability of the company, Euroget De Invest to secure funding from Egypt. This undue delay was mainly occasioned by the Arab spring upheaval in Egypt. Thus, the Upper West regional hospital could not start on schedule due to lack of funds. See 9. Through the hard work of the Mills/Mahama government, approval was given to Euroget De Invest and funding was secured from a Barclays PLC- ABSA SA consortium to finance the project in August 2012. See 10. In November 2012, just before the elections, then running mate to Akufo-Addo, Alhaji Bawumia visited the project site with the media and mocked John Mahama and the NDC for deceiving the people of Upper West region. See 11. Actual construction began in 2014 under the Mahama/NDC government with funding from the Barclays-ABSA bank consortium. By the time John Mahama was leaving office, the project was about 95%. These facts are verifiable and indisputable. 13. It is true that the project has its roots in the Kufour government. It was in 2008, that the MoU and original loan agreement was signed and approved. However, the funding arrangement envisaged under the Kufour government didn’t materialize. The contracts were signed and the sod cut for the project by the Mills/Mahama government. More importantly, Funding was secured in August 2012 under the Mills/Mahama government. Construction began in 2014 under the Mahama government and was over 95% complete in 2016 before John Mahama left office. 14. The Upper West Regional hospital project should have been fully completed and commissioned latest by 2017 but was unduly delayed by President Akufo-Addo and commissioned in 2019. 15. While it is fair to give President Kuffuor the credit for conceptualizing and initiating the project, the chunk of the credit must go to the Mills/Mahama governments which worked with Euroget to secure funding for the project and supervised the construction of the project from ground zero to about 95% completion stage. 16. July 11 Today marks exactly 1 year since my hip replacement surgery. A pivotal moment for me after living my entire life with debilitating Leg pain (Avascular Necrosis) from a wrongly administered injection when I was a 9 months old. This experience completely changed my life and taught me to never take the little things for granted. The recovery months sent me into deep depression as I had to learn how to walk again as a child, and rely on other people to do even the simplest tasks. It truly felt like the world had moved on and I was just static. But God’s promise and the hard lessons he was teaching me in that season was that I be STILL and let the world move on, because someday I would move again and the world will STANDSTILL for me. The world has indeed stood still for me especially in the last couple of months, as I started playing chess again, Broke a world record, Started playing the piano again,Travelled the world, Spoke on Global stages and Helped more children find their place in the world again. Maybe danced a little more as well😊. I finally found the courage to chase all the things that set my soul on fire. The surgeons say the titanium implants have a lifespan of 15-20 years if you’re lucky, so I guess this is year one of being a cyborg. I’m still recovering and not sure what the future holds, but one thing I know that’s certain is God will hold my hands through all of it. This frail body and these broken bones will house the greatest spirit humanity will ever know. I’m living❤️ For everyone going through their own version of being static or nursing a pain no one else understands, I hope you don’t give up on yourself. Those battle scars will tell a beautiful story that healing is possible. Someday you will move again and the world will STANDSTILL.

I think this result came after an incredible amount of deliberation. I’m always so grateful because all of you always helped create such amazing stages for us. Honestly, I think our COERs are the best at having fun. I don’t ever want to hear Charlie Kirk claim he is pro-Trump ever again. After this weekend, I’d say he has revealed himself as political opportunist and I have had a front row seat to witness the mental gymnastics these last 10 years. Lately, Charlie has decided to behave like a charlatan, claiming to be pro-Trump one day while he stabs Trump in the back the next. TPUSA was only able to thrive thanks to the generosity of President Trump. On the one year anniversary of the assassination attempt on Trump’s life, Charlie hosted Dave Smith at Turning Point USA’s SAS conference where Dave Smith was able to speak to a bunch of conservative youth at an organization that claims to be Pro-Trump. 3 weeks ago, Dave Smith called for President Trump to be IMPEACHED and REMOVED from office over his decision to blow up Iran’s nuclear facilities. Charlie played both sides of the Iran issue on his show as we all saw, because he wants to play to both sides of the aisle. The honorable thing to do is to have a position and actually defend it to the death instead of flip flopping. Smith said all of MAGA “should turn on Trump” and abandon him. He said this 3 weeks ago. HapdZi Birthday, Sam! As many of you are aware, as part of this year's "Sam's Birthday Fundraiser" we have been raising funds for the dZi Foundation. The dZi foundation works along side communities in Nepal providing support, infrastructure, knowledge, education, and upskilling, whilst working towards sustainability and self-sufficiency. They are doing truly amazing work within these communities and I am so very glad that they are this year's recipient. Now for the exciting part! Drum roll, please... I am very proud to announce that we were able to raise $32, 290USD! Yes, you read that correctly! $32,290USD! Thank you to everyone who has donated, those who were cheerleaders, and those who were donators and cheerleaders. I am so incredibly proud of our community and I hope that you are too! You guys are fabulous! I would also like to extend my sincere thanks to Jake Norton for sharing his love of Nepal and its people with us. By sharing his memories, and parts of his recent trip with Sam, we were able to have a personal connection with both the people and the places that our donations will benefit. For that I will always be grateful to Jake. I would also like to thank Jake for his very, very generous donation match during the last week of the fundraiser. It was great to see Jake ensure that "Sam" finally made it to the top of "Everest." (Where there's a will, or in this case, a Jake, there's a way!) The Pakistani Cartel infiltration of the Labour Party was raised in parliament today. I first exposed this 8 years ago. The consequence was the open endorsement of my murder by the now leader of Oldham Council. As each day passes, more and more people know the truth of what is really happening to our democracy. It genuinely is a relief to me. Listen to Robbie Moore MP and reflect on why, when I first started, I would sign off with these words. Do Not Fear Them. Do Not Fear Any of Them. As for the Prime Minister’s response, don’t believe for one second his sense of urgency, he knows all about AROOJ SHAH. The work I do is only possible with your support.
