I don’t see the racism here tbh. Just people seeing something not used to and being fascinated by it. No hate anywhere. I think racism has to have hate in it. But curiosity is allowed

But Chinese people don’t do this out of hate or disgust like the other ‘honourable members of society’, it’s purely out of curiosity. They live in their own world, even their media is controlled to some, so they don’t know how sensitive the skin color topic is in other countries.

Nothing bizarre here. The kid has probably never seen a black person before. The man did well by educating him.

I have been living in China for the past four years and what I have learnt and observed over the years is that Chinese people have never seen any other race except their own race and they also get amused when they see Indians, White people and other people from other countries.
