I'm by no means a body language expert, but just watch the first 2 minutes of this presser of the greatest golfer since a Tiger. It seems like Scheffler has just walked off the course, guzzling water and breathing rather heavily in the beginning. His face, for the first little while, bears the brutality of his previous endeavor and as the presser unfolds you can see him come to terms with where he is and what he is doing as joy slowly re-enters his body, deliriously dragging him from a mental realm of survival back into civilization and goofy laughs at his own jokes. Giddy giggles that took a couple moments to surface as the recalibration of compartmentalization slowly released the steamy pressure of perpetual excellence that Oakmont demands. Golly, I can't wait for this carnage to unfold as this gem of a course just grinds down the top 0.01% of their craft, one hard earned shot at a time.

Saw this moment and it just hit me right in the heart. An elderly man stood on the street corner with a small stray dog looking up at him. The man walked over to a sink by the wall, filled his hands with water, and gently offered it to the dog, carefully, slowly, as if he didn’t want to spill a drop. The dog trusted him instantly, lapping at the water from his palms. No fancy bowl, no leash, no words needed. Just one person making sure a thirsty soul got a drink. You can tell when kindness is pure, it’s quiet, simple, and asks for nothing back. This was one of those moments.

Understand this: The movies and shows about the crucifixion have been tame when compared to what He actually went through. Even The Passion Of The Christ was forced to hold back a little in order to avoid an X rating. Crucifixion was, and still is, arguably the most excruciating death someone can experience. The night before in Gethsemane, He was sweating blood. This is known as hematidrosis. This would have caused His skin to become extremely sensitive, thus making the beatings to come even worse. The fear He felt was the beginning of His feeling the weight of our iniquities being laid on Him. Yet - in this moment, He didn’t demand that the Father take it from Him. He only asked for the cup to pass Him over if it was within the Father’s will. Up next came the Cat of Nine Tails, or a Roman Flagrum. This was a weapon with long leather “tails”, each embedded with sharp bones and metal. He was flogged 39 times as Jewish law mandated “40 minus one”, because 40 was said to kill a man. This flogging wasn’t like being punished by your father’s leather belt. Every strike tore flesh, every strike exposed muscle. Every strike exposed nerve endings. Every strike tore flesh to the bone. This would be like getting struck with razor blades over and over again, leading to hypovolemic shock from blood loss. Oh, and the crown of thorns? These weren’t rose thorns. These were thorns which were 2-3 inches long. Beaten into his skull. These thorns would have pierced his skull, tripping the trigeminal nerve, thus causing unimaginable pain and even more blood loss from the dozens of head wounds. Splinters and wood grating against the open flesh on His back. And He had to carry it 650 yards, or close to a half mile. Imagine carrying a log on your back after being skinned alive. Up next? He was nailed to the cross with spikes 5-7in in length. Piercing His wrists - this no doubt pierced the median nerve, causing extreme burning sensations up and down His arms. A spike was driven through his ankles - severing nerves and tendons. This would have felt like standing on broken glass every time He pushed Himself up in order to breathe. He suffered for 6 hours. His chest muscles collapsing, making every single breath a fight for life. His shoulders were dislocated, His arms stretching unnaturally long. His heart was struggling to pump blood. He was extremely dehydrated, His lips cracking. His heart more than likely literally ruptured from the stress. And on top of all of that, He had to feel a separation with the Father for a period of time in order to REALLY bear the weight of our sin. He took up this burden for ALL sin before Him, and ALL sin which came after Him. HE DID IT ALL FOR US. To free us. To defeat sin. To give us a pathway to the Kingdom. Every sin we commit is exactly why He had to do it. And the real kicker? He knew what was coming when He rode into Jerusalem … and He didn’t turn around. He kept going. For us.

The Story Of Robber… “Yes, Robber was one of my toughest rescues. He’s about eight years old and grew up wild on Koh Samui. Locals fed him for years, but no one could ever touch him. Those same people reached out when Robber suddenly showed severe neurological symptoms — until his whole body shut down. Happy Doggo rescued him from the beach, but in the end, no one knew what to do. So I took Robber home. And that’s where it all began. It wasn’t only about healing. It was about teaching him to come back to life. Robber had a serious blood infection. His right eye was badly damaged. He was weak and heavy; his body kept cramping, and he couldn’t move at all — just lying there, trapped in himself. It was hard to work with him, but he fought through with incredible willpower. But that wasn’t the only challenge. Robber is a free spirit. He’d let me touch him, but everything in his body said he didn’t want it. He escaped twice. He tore down my doors, broke through my fence, and ran off, lost and confused, searching for home. Catching him again was exhausting — for both of us. Even with all that distance, he wanted to sleep in my bed. The vet had to remove his eye later on. Then came the final stage of healing. Another match and another Gunther masterclass. The way he's telling stories in the ring is truly amazing. Dragon Lee starts the match smartly by jumping Gunther before the bell but quickly makes his first mistake. He gives his opponent time & space and Ring General capitalizes on it by hitting a brutal Back Body Drop on the floor. Lee is showing a lot of fire but he makes the same mistake over and over again which lets Gunther to be in control. Dragon tries to adapt his strategy to a counter wrestling, he baits his rival and makes Gunther run into him which works for a bit. But then he goes for a Suicide Dive and of course, he pays for it. But he's able to make a brilliant comeback, reversing move after move and finally taking Ring General down. Unfortunately, he gets little too excited, goes for Operation Dragon way too quickly and Gunther counters it easily. Now Gunther destroys Lee with Powerbombs. He could get a win but he remembers all the attacks and wants to punish luchador. This is the chance that Dragon was waiting for. He counters another Powerbomb into Sunset Bomb, fights through the pain and hits mutliple big moves. Now he would have any other opponent beaten but this is Ring General. He always has something up his sleeve, especially when he's in survival mode. He stops another Operation Dragon attempt, takes off Lee's mask and puts him in Sleeper Hold to get the win. Gunther is willing to use cheap tactics to get the job done, we saw it against AJ Styles, and now against Dragon Lee. Brilliant finish to a great match. Gunther was fantastic as always and a great underdog performance from Dragon Lee.
