According to reports: The incident occurred near Air University and Bahria University within the jurisdiction of Margalla Police Station. Group Captain Asim Tariq reportedly confronted armed suspects who were allegedly attempting to force a young woman into a vehicle. During the confrontation, the unknown attackers opened fire before fleeing the scene. The injured officer was rushed to Pakistan Air Force Hospital (Unit-II), where he later succumbed to his injuries. Authorities have launched an investigation to identify and apprehend the attackers.

"This cyclist was riding his bike past my vehicle and decided to spit on it as he rode by. I then confronted him as he tried to deny the claim.
