Why can't @UIDAI automatically lock biometric for all as default settings. This will be easier. Those who do not have a smart phone or are not even aware of these settings will be saved.

Aadhaar biometrics security shall be responsibility of Govt. for data protection hence locking it's security shall be mandatory done by Govt. and similarly any other settings, if any. Why should every common person security jeopardized by Govt?🤔

Locking is easy. Unlocking is difficult. Unlock OTP never arrives in time. If phone is stolen, unlock OTP will go to the stolen phone.
