The BJP's habit of claiming credit using brute police force was in full display today! Former Congress corporator Meher Haider and Youth Congress's Sufiyan Haider were brutally forced out and detained for attending the opening ceremony of municipal school they helped build! The opening of the Mumbai Public School at Cama Road today was converted into a party event by the BJP! Former Congress corporator Meher Haider had been invited to the event but despite her having initiated and followed up on the construction and various amenities at the school, she was made to sit along with the public. In fact, when she reached the venue, she and her supporters were questioned as to why they had come. The BJP leaders on the stage including Ashish Shelar made the event into a BJP campaign event and gave credit for building the school to Ameet Satam repeatedly, at which point Meher objected. Look at the brutal way in which Meher and her son and Youth Congress leader Sufiyan are being dragged out of the room for merely setting the record straight. You can hear Ashish Shelar speaking while all this is happening! Sufiyan was hit by policemen badly and his clothes were torn. Meher and Sufiyan were then detained during the entire duration of the event in a room within the school! The BJP's arrogance has gone too far. This is no way to treat a former corporator, that too a woman, just so that they can claim fake credit for a project they didn't do anything for. The cab driver who assaulted a 75-year-old man in Thane — seen in a video that went viral and prompted Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde to seek stringent action — was tracked down through a sting operation by Shiv Sena workers who posed as customers seeking a ride. The victim, Sarosh Dastoor, has fractured his right leg and is recovering at Jupiter Hospital. Workers used the vehicle’s registration number to get the car owner’s contact details, then called him pretending to book a cab to Lalbaug in Parel. The owner passed on driver Nishant Shukla’s number. When Shukla was contacted, he agreed to the trip and rode to the designated spot on his motorcycle. Party workers identified and detained him there before handing him over to police. “Using the registration number of the vehicle, we obtained the address and contact details of the car owner. One of our workers called the owner pretending to be a customer seeking a ride to Lalbaug in Parel. The owner then shared Shukla’s mobile number. When contacted, Shukla agreed to take the trip and as he was roaming on his bike in the vicinity, he arrived at the designated location on his motorcycle, assuring that he would be bringing his car. As soon as he reached there, party workers identified and detained him before handing him over to the police,” said local Shiv Sena leader Nitesh Patole, who was among those involved in tracing the accused. Workers from the Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray faction were also part of the search. The Vartak Nagar police have charged Shukla under Section 109 (attempt to murder) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. He has been remanded to two days of police custody. The case was registered on the complaint of a member of the search team, as Dastoor has not personally filed a complaint. Police said his statement has not been recorded yet as he is still recovering physically and emotionally, and will be taken once he is in a better condition. The assault took place near Jupiter Hospital in Thane West around 8 pm on Tuesday, when Dastoor and his wife were on an evening walk outside their residential building. Shukla was allegedly gargling and spitting repeatedly on the road when Dastoor objected. An argument turned violent and Shukla allegedly began abusing and assaulting the senior citizen. Eyewitness Ganesh Jadhav, who runs a coconut stall near the spot, said the altercation escalated quickly. “The cab driver was standing near his vehicle and was allegedly gargling water and repeatedly spitting on the road. Dastoor objected to his behaviour and requested him not to spit in public places. An argument ensued, which quickly turned violent after Shukla allegedly began abusing and assaulting the senior citizen,” Jadhav said. Amit Samanta, a manager at a nearby shop, said he rushed out after hearing the commotion. “It was closing time and I heard an altercation outside the shop. The customer in the shop rushed out. I also came and saw a man assaulting the senior citizen, who then fell on the footpath. The same customer intervened, stopped the fight and took the injured man to Jupiter Hospital in his car as he had sustained injuries to his right leg,” Samanta said. Dastoor and his wife live alone in a housing society near the hospital. A security guard at the building said he had worked there for three years and saw the elderly couple on their evening walks almost every day. Shinde called the Thane Police Commissioner seeking stringent action, including the addition of an attempt to murder charge given the gravity of the offence. MP Shrikant Shinde spoke to Dastoor over a video call at the hospital, inquired about his health and assured him of support. Despite approaches from multiple political parties, Dastoor has declined political support. Patole said Shukla later claimed he turned violent after Dastoor allegedly abused him in English.

That one statement was enough to wipe out BJP from UP forever (it wasn't in power in UP since 25 yrs already) & with it 2019 LS also. But fortunately, BJP worked in overdrive to clear the confusion. Mounting pressure forced Vaidya to issue clarification. Hats off to UP RSS unit which knew importance & desperation to win UP. Add to it meticulous planning of Amit Shah Ji & BJP stormed to power with Brute Majority to open roads for 2019 LS also. So Jagdeep attending book launch of 'this' person solved a big puzzle. And...inspite of working so hard, Vaidya has not been able to get his 'favourite' person in PM's Chair. Ps- I'm not denying RSS's contribution to Nation & Society. This whole mess went down during the Duterte administration, but the warnings completely fell on deaf ears. Despite the massive red flags brought to light by Andaya Jr., the Duterte admin did nothing and the issue was swept under the rug. 1. Andaya exposed that ₱75 billion was secretly added to the 2019 DPWH budget. Out of that insertion, ₱14.5 billion went to flood control. In total, the government allocated a staggering ₱332 billion for flood defenses in just three years (2017 to 2019). Yet, heavily hit flood-prone areas continued to suffer. 3. While areas devastated by Typhoon Usman received virtually no help, over ₱385 million was funneled into six specific flood and drainage projects in Casiguran, Sorsogon — the hometown of the politically powerful Hamor family. ✳️ The Casiguran breakdown: Himaoyon Flood Control (₱75M) Lungib Seawall (₱80M) Somal-ot Seawall (₱100M) Cagpagol River Control (₱45M) Suji River Control (₱25M) Poblacion Drainage System (₱60M). 4. The main contractor landing these deals was Aremar Construction Corporation. Corporate records revealed a massive conflict of interest: one of Aremar’s main incorporators was married to the daughter of then-DBM Secretary Benjamin Diokno. 5. To bypass scrutiny, a firm called C.T. Leoncio Construction allegedly acted as a conduit. They won around ₱2 billion in Bicol infrastructure projects but secretly passed the actual work and profits over to Aremar. 6. Andaya produced actual deposit slips proving that over ₱70 million (including a single transfer exceeding ₱11.4 million) was moved directly into Aremar's bank accounts, which major anti-money laundering questions for the banks involved. 🔸What happened to Andaya after: Following this intense expose, Andaya faced heavy political backlash and survived multiple assassination attempts, including separate incidents where his vehicle was shot at in 2018 and 2021. For those who missed this story about Italian vatnik a few days ago — it is really crazy 🙉 There was a bus going from Italy to Ukraine. On this bus was a 53-year-old Italian man named Rocco. In a bus Rocco started talking with a young Ukrainian woman named Daria. During this talk he said many terrible things, like he supports putin, that putin is “a great leader” and so on🤮 He also insulted President Zelenskyy, calling him bad names. He said Ukrainians are “cretins” and that Ukraine is a terrible country 😳 He said all this while sitting next to Ukrainians on the bus, while going to Ukraine, while wearing a Ukrainian shirt... Daria was shocked. She reminded him that he was speaking to a Ukrainian woman and going to her country while insulting it. Rocco did not say sorry. He started talking about freedom of speech. He said that in Italy he can say whatever he wants. Daria told him that if he thinks like this, then maybe he should not go to Ukraine. Rocco became even more aggressive. He pointed to his Ukrainian fiancée and said that she thinks the same as him and that she is also Ukrainian. Later he behaved even worse. The EHRC investigation was opened after a campaign by Zionist regime assets and agents including the formally Zionist Jewish Labour Movement, and the Zionist regime agent the Campaign Against Antisemitism and a host of other Zionist bullies. It was not legitimate and should have been rejected by any leader with principles; 2. The investigation itself was nobbled by the fact that the EHRC was infiltrated by Zionists. This was known at the time and I contributed to analysis of this back then. (link in replies) For example the CEO of the EHRC at the time was Rebecca Hilsenrath. She is a genocidal Zionist who was “co-founder of the Hertsmere Jewish Day School, and then Yavneh College in Hertfordshire”. Both of these schools self describe as ‘Zionist’ or ‘Religious Zionist’. Worse, her husband Michael was a trustee of a Zionist charity which funded the CAA - one of the complainants. On top of that the chair of the EHRC was also a Zionist: David Isaac. He was associated with a Tory think tank that also published Stephen Pollard's musings on the Corbynites and "antisemitism". Even the Zionist Rebecca Hilsenrath went public on claims that Isaac was not independent. In addition the EHRC panel of approved counsel included the JLM's Sarah Sackman, (now the Solicitor-General in the genocidal Starmer regime) and Adam Wagner who was instructed by the CAA to present its complaint to the EHRC. Corbyn could and should have directly attacked the complainants, the EHRC, the report and its findings then. Why on earth will he not do it now? The investigation was a joke and only managed to accuse two people of alleged and ridiculous offences: Ken Livingstone and Pam Bromley. It's truly disgraceful that even now Corbyn won't come out and defend Ken, an Icon of the left who did more than any other living socialist to embed anti-racism in British society. But Corbyn - then and still now - insists on throwing Ken under the bus, just as he did with Jackie Walker (Jackie Walker - HRH, MP, MBE, ABC) , Chris Williamson (Chris Williamson), Marc Wadsworth (Marc Wadsworth) and all the rest. Sadly, Corbyn is showing no sign at all of learning any lessons from the previous failure. Even now he could do so. Your Party needs to declare that it is anti-Zionist, for the Right of Return of all Palestinian refugees, against the "two state" solution, for one state Palestine and for the dismantling of the Zionist colony and decolonisation of Palestine.
