Muslim lives have become painfully cheap in today’s India. They are humiliated for their identity, attacked in broad daylight, and their homes, masjids, and madrasas are demolished as if their existence carries no value. And yet, the silence around this suffering is deafening. Yesterday, when I visited Palla village and met the grieving family of Aamir—who was chased and shot dead by members of Bajrang Dal—the weight of their pain was unbearable. Amid the cries and shock, his aunt asked a question so simple, yet so piercing: “What would have happened if a Hindu had been killed like this by Muslims?” Her words were not just a question. They carried the anguish of a community that feels abandoned, unheard, and left to mourn alone.

No words can truly describe the grief inside that house. We also visited the petrol pump where Aamir had filled fuel in his pickup shortly before the incident. The video footage clearly shows that the vehicle was empty. There were no cows inside, contrary to the accusations that were made. It leaves everyone with a heavy heart. The law seems to be fading away when Muslims can be killed in broad daylight like this, and justice feels so distant. Muslims are being targeted again and again, and families are left to mourn while the system remains silent.

HapdZi Birthday, Sam! As many of you are aware, as part of this year's "Sam's Birthday Fundraiser" we have been raising funds for the dZi Foundation. The dZi foundation works along side communities in Nepal providing support, infrastructure, knowledge, education, and upskilling, whilst working towards sustainability and self-sufficiency. They are doing truly amazing work within these communities and I am so very glad that they are this year's recipient. Now for the exciting part! Drum roll, please... I am very proud to announce that we were able to raise $32, 290USD! Yes, you read that correctly! $32,290USD! Thank you to everyone who has donated, those who were cheerleaders, and those who were donators and cheerleaders. I am so incredibly proud of our community and I hope that you are too! You guys are fabulous! I would also like to extend my sincere thanks to Jake Norton for sharing his love of Nepal and its people with us. By sharing his memories, and parts of his recent trip with Sam, we were able to have a personal connection with both the people and the places that our donations will benefit. Issues of paternity have shaped our society for generations, especially in Zimbabwe. They did not start today. I remember going to a funeral with my father in the 1990s, and as we sat around the fire the men began sharing stories. One of them has stayed with me ever since. A Zimbabwean doctor had married a nurse, and they struggled to have children. As usual, when there is no child, the blame was placed on the woman. She went to see her own doctor, who told her plainly that she was not the problem, and advised her to bring her husband for testing. The husband refused, as many Zimbabwean men tend to do. Their marriage eventually collapsed, with the man insisting he could not be the problem because he had a child with another woman before marrying the nurse. That woman, he said, was also a doctor, and he was raising that child. After the divorce, the nurse remarried another doctor, and she immediately fell pregnant. Because it was a tight medical community, the whole situation became a talking point. The ex-husband had loudly declared that his former wife was barren, yet here she was having one child after another, three in total, with her new husband. Meanwhile, the ex-husband remarried, and again there were no children. One day the ex-husband and his former wife met at a gathering. During a casual conversation, as people who once knew each other, she told him directly that he was raising a child who was not his. She told him that he had no capacity to father a child and that if he finally went for tests, he would discover the truth. She reminded him how he had insulted her and her parents, and how he had refused to listen. The revelation shook him. He went for tests, and it was confirmed that he was the problem. He had spent seventeen years looking after a child who was not his. The moral of the story is simple, and I always stress this when mentoring young people. When in doubt, check. In fact, even without doubt, check. A DNA test at birth saves you from future heartbreak. Many men are raising children who are not theirs. Some women know exactly what they are doing. Others genuinely do not know because their relationships overlapped before they settled down. In those cases, even the woman cannot be sure who the father is. So when you have a child, get a DNA test. If you ask for one and a woman becomes defensive or resistant, that is a major red flag. At that point, the test is no longer optional, it is necessary. That is the reality of life today. As they say, trust is beautiful, but DNA is confirmation. In this life we live, hope is not a strategy when it comes to your children, so test your child and protect your future, as the saying goes. I have DNA stories that I could share for a whole year. If compulsory DNA testing was demanded of all of us today, you will be shocked by what will come out. This brother in the video is now going through denial. He has been told the truth, but he is still in shock, which is why he is asking for silly things from this woman. It is hard for any man to discover that the child he believed was his belongs to another man. That is why DNA testing is a necessity and why it should be compulsory.

This is not a time for partisan politics. It's a moment for collective resolve to ensure justice for those who lost their lives and for their grieving families by bringing the perpetrators to justice. Among the list of victims were: Shri Manjunath from Chikmagalur. Shri Bharat Bhushan from Bengaluru. I spoke to both the wives of the deceased, Pallavi and Sujata, this morning. They are at present safe, but they are worried about the future. I spoke to the KPCC, and the Cabinet has deputed Labour Minister Santosh Lad. He said that he met two members of the family and their children. He also met nearly 200 tourists from Karnataka there in various hotels and arranged flights to return to Bangalore. I have also requested J&K CM Umar Abdullah to make arrangements for those who are not in touch with their respective states. Yesterday night, I spoke to our Home Minister; he promised me that he will take care of all those people. I offer my deepest condolences to the families of the deceased and their loved ones in the tragic incident. The summer season has started, and tourists have started visiting the region. Tourism is also the biggest source of income for Jammu and Kashmir. They are dependent on that income. But due to this attack, Shri Omar Abdullah has told me that this year the economy has collapsed. The Government of India is ruling there, as it's a Union Territory, still not declared as a state. So the response would be from the Government of India. In this moment, we are all one with the government. Together we have to fight. Whosoever we are fighting against—whether it is terrorists or other agencies—we will be one together to protect the country and its unity and integrity. : Congress President Shri Mallikarjun Kharge

Chuck Norris, a martial artist and actor, has passed away at the age of 86. His family released the following statement: “It is with heavy hearts that our family shares the sudden passing of our beloved Chuck Norris yesterday morning. While we would like to keep the circumstances private, please know that he was surrounded by his family and was at peace. To the world, he was a martial artist, actor, and a symbol of strength. To us, he was a devoted husband, a loving father and grandfather, an incredible brother, and the heart of our family. Yesterday, I shared a video of a young man who had reached a breaking point in his life. Instead of making a tragic decision, this man — whom I know as Kasule Paul — chose to courageously speak out. In the video, he explained the challenges he was facing after his merchandise was stolen, leaving him uncertain about how he would return home to his young family — his wife, who had just undergone surgery, and their baby — and explain what had happened. I posted a message on Facebook asking for help in locating him, and I am grateful that we were able to connect. We have since spoken, and he has shared the kind of support he needs during this difficult time. I kindly ask for your compassion and support as we come together to assist him. Thank you.

Alhamdulillah, our trip today to the Al-Mawasi area was beautiful and successful, but it also brought back so many memories and emotions. ♥️ We visited the home that opened its doors to Rafif’s family and welcomed us three different times during this war, without ever asking for anything in return. They received us with nothing but love, respect, and generosity. The first time was from December 2023 until April 2024. The second time lasted only one week, but it is a week that will remain in our memories forever, because Rafif was born during that week while we were in Al-Mawasi. After that, we returned once again. Our third displacement there lasted from May 2025 until April 2026, before we moved to central Khan Younis. No matter how many days or years pass, this family will always remain in our hearts. We will forever carry love and gratitude for them that words could never fully express. They opened their home to us during some of the hardest days of our lives and shared their space, safety, and whatever they had with us, asking for absolutely nothing in return. ❤️ No matter how much Rafif’s family tries to repay their kindness, what they did for us will always be far greater than anything we could ever give back. And to every person who has stood beside Rafif’s family, supported us, helped us, and kept us in their prayers throughout this war: you will also remain in our hearts, and we will never forget your kindness. Stratosphere was our biggest and heaviest character on #Transformers ROTB. He was a real challenge to deal with on the Modeling, Texturing, and Rendering side. He had 1434 UDIMs due to his immense scale and was made up of tens of thousands of objects. His level of detail was truly something else. His vehicle form was also a behemoth. We had also built a mortar for his robot form and a cannon for his vehicle form but neither of these made it into the film as his part in the final battle was cut out. He was originally supposed to help out in the final battle, using both of these weapons against the Sweepers and Predacons. The decision to cut him from the final act came very late as all of his assets were final at that point. We were never told the reason why his role was cut from the film. I had to re-design my texturing system in Mari when working on him to ensure that it could handle such a complex and large character. I had to simplify a lot of the procedural systems and even had to branch off some of them into their own files to ensure that artists could work with somewhat decent performance. We ran into a lot of issues pushing him through our pipeline, both as a model as well as rendering him due to the sheer amount of objects and textures that had to be processed. For shots, it was requested by Lighting that we reduce his memory footprint as Google had complained he was taking up too much memory and their I/O for rendering on the cloud was being affected. The leadership team and I decided that the best way to do this was to half the texel density on the parts that wouldn't be visible in our approved shots and to also half the resolution of the textures in the parts not visible to camera. This allowed us to optimize his memory footprint both in shots as well as storage and I/O. It was massive technical undertaking working on Stratosphere, so much so that we had to delay getting him into shots as we simply couldn't push him through with our normal tooling. I really enjoyed the challenge that he posed for us as a team. I went sourcing for my rent, and I came back home a Landlord. My rent was due since March, I had pleaded with the landlord to give me some time to sort it out, and he had been patient. Business was not doing very well, and we were depending on my wife’s earnings to survive. I have a big brother who grew up in our neighbourhood. He was an artist at the time, and I used to hang around him while he worked. I developed an interest in artwork because of him, and he was my inspiration for studying sculpture and other art forms, which led me to become who I am today. This man had become a politician in another state. I had not seen him in several years, but we exchange messages via text and WhatsApp once in a while, especially regarding some artworks and politics. I never gave him the impression that I was struggling because I felt it would affect our relationship but I was desperate this time around and decided to go and see him. During the Night of Glory, as we ministered to the Lord and words of prophecy were being spoken, the man of God said “I have given it to you, I have supplied you with that heart desire. That thing you have been waiting for and trusting God for is now yours. Share your testimony with me when you receive it.” I heard these words from brother Gbenga, and I couldn’t relate. The only thing I had been thinking about in my heart was how to visit this mentor of mine and ask him for support regarding my rent. I decided that the prophecy was a green light for me to take a step of faith I gathered as much money as my wife could loan me and travelled to this man’s state. I met him at home; he had just won his primary election and was in a very good mood. He felt i came around to give him moral support. Later that evening, I told him about my rent issue. He made two calls and told me to go and pick up the keys to the house in Lagos. He also gave me some money to settle all the estate bills and meet other needs. Above all, he gave me a contract that will keep me and my team occupied with good income for a very long time. This is how God turned my story to a song of victory. "It’s news that we’re trying to prepare for this early release after the murder, barely four years today. It’s news that is really hard to hear, that makes us really go back to our work of mourning for the children and me," said Christelle Gervaise, the wife of Alban. "It’s true that it’s hard to imagine being able to be in the same city as him. It’s true that it’s quite unbearable for us." Alban was stabbed to death while waiting outside his children's Catholic school to pick up his two sons, aged 3 and 7, while his 20-month-old daughter was inside his car, in Marseille in May 2022. Now, the killer will enjoy partial release during evenings and weekends "at liberty." The mother, Christelle, is terrified, and the courts so far have refused to listen to her pleas to block Mohamed L. from being in the same city as her and her children. Last night in Kawangware, I met this man whom I initially thought was a security guard. After speaking with him, I later came to learn that he is a Nigerian national currently living on the streets. Whenever I meet someone living on the streets, I always take time to engage with them, understand their story, and learn how they ended up there. My goal is always to see how best I can help them rebuild their lives. During our conversation, he shared that he came to Kenya after receiving a promise of sponsorship from his cousin to continue his education here. However, after only two weeks in the country, his cousin who had promised to support him left for the United States without enrolling him in school, leaving him stranded in Kenya. As we continued talking, he explained how he struggled to survive and eventually ended up living on the streets. He has now been on the streets for about two years. In one of the videos I recorded, a lady reached out to me and said she recognized him. According to her, they once lived in the same apartment building. She narrated how the man had been in a relationship with a lady who allegedly took everything he owned. This incident deeply affected him, pushing him into depression and eventually to the streets. The man also shared that at one point he worked in Dubai, where he used to send money back home to support his parents in Nigeria. However, when he later returned home, he claims he discovered that he had been deceived by the very people he trusted. He gave me his parents’ contact, although we were not able to fully hear their side of the story. Currently, his travel documents have expired, and he expressed that his biggest wish is to renew them so that he can return home to Nigeria and start life again. I offered to use my platform to help fundraise for the renewal of his documents, as he personally requested. He also asked if I could help him secure any form of work so that he could at least sustain himself as he waits to regularize his documents. However, after spending time with him and assessing his situation, it became clear to me that he urgently needs mental health support, as he appears to be struggling with depression. I therefore decided that the following morning I would take him to a private rehabilitation center where professionals could assess him and offer the help he needs. After we agreed on this plan, I took him to a hotel where he could spend the night safely. I paid for his room and food, intending to pick him up the following morning and take him for rehabilitation. Unfortunately, later in the morning I received a call from the hotel attendant informing me that although the man had slept well, he left the guest house very early in a hurry. Later reports indicated that he had been seen back on the streets. Since then, efforts to locate and rescue him have not been successful. I am informed that he rarely accepts help from people, which makes the situation even more challenging. We do not trust the Govt lab. His wife has given it in writing to the Govt hospital that he be discharged from here at the earliest and we be permitted to take him to another hospital. His wife has said that the march to Parliament on 20th July will go on as decided and Sir too will be a part of it but if he doesn't come his wife will join it..."
