carlos shared a lot of hints about his upcoming ‘team fiftyfive’ project when asked about making f1 more accessible to fans: “i always try and build a community of fans around me. this year i'm starting a new project actually that we're going to be launching in the next few months that people are already starting to get excited for, which is going to be basically growing a brand and a community for people to join along the way. “one thing that i've realized is that people don't only follow me as an individual, as an athlete, they also follow my team and when i talk about my team, i talk about my manager, my coach, my driver coach, my dad, and they see us as a team. in social media, they call us, and i call us, team fiftyfive. it's a group of people that we travel around the world, being part of an f1 team, trying to have fun, trying to enjoy ourselves, but trying to win. and i realize that a lot of our fans, i want them to be part of team fifityfive. i want to make them feel like they are part of that community, that very small community that is a core of five people, but to expand it, to make sure whenever you come to my grandstand in madrid, whenever you come to my grandstand in barcelona, whenever you come to film a youtube video with us, you feel part of that community and for that i'm gonna create something that i cannot reveal now exactly all the details as i said, but that i feel like people have been waiting for for a long time, and i'm gonna approach it a bit in a different manner than what you commonly see with athletes, i'm gonna try something a bit different, but i hope people enjoy it and they appreciate the effort that my team has put together to create this community.”

#F1 | Lewis Hamilton believes the team is very well equipped to take on the 2026 season: “Just to be in Fiorano, you know, to be at Ferrari, to be here, to know that this is a start of a long journey, but one that I know that it just feels right, I think the team is in the best place it’s been, I think, for the time I’ve been here. And seeing everyone so motivated and driven, I think we’re really on it.” “We’ve got a lot of work to do to really make sure we do all the diligence and we really understand this car and we really have to be quick to react, be very dynamic but I feel like all hands are on deck so I’m sure we can do that.”

mara: where do you feel you are in your career? carlos: more or less at the halfway point. mara: so, you’re still aiming for a top team? carlos: sure. it’s been clear for a long time that i want to turn williams into a top team, that’s my goal for the coming years of my career. but if we don't become a top team, i know my desire is to get back to winning races and join a top team. that’s for sure, because ultimately, i’m here to win. that is my goal. i have faith that williams can build a race-winning car in the future, which is why i've commited to this team long-term. but i want to win races because i know i’m capable of it. even last year, when i didn't have a car capable of podiums, i found ways to secure three of them. that’s why i feel i’m definitely nearing the peak of my career. looking ahead, i’m only thinking about winning a world championship. i’ve had pole positions, race wins, and plenty of podiums, but a world championship is what’s missing. at least, i want to put myself in a position where i have the chance to win one. whether i actually win it or not... well, things can happen like what's happening to george, or what happened to lando at the start of last year, where the year you finally have a winning car might not be the perfect season for you. but just having the opportunity to be in that situation, to have a car capable of winning a championship, that’s what appeals to me. whether i actually win the title is less relevant or less important to me than simply being in the position of having a car capable of winning it.

"My feeling is this. I'm not pro-immigration. I'm not anti-immigration. What I want is for people who are not corrupt, who are well-informed about the issue, to figure out what the best level of immigration is and to set up a process that works. I don't want to see any illegals. I want to see people who come in legally. I want to see the number. Maybe it's a high number. Maybe it's a low number. I don't know, but I'd like to see the right number. I'd like us to at least aspire to it. And then most important of all, and I see this in both England and the US, somewhere along the line, we apparently decided it was impolite to ask people who wished to come to our countries, whether they liked us and aspired to be a part of our civilization. And my feeling is whatever the number is that we should be allowing in, I don't want any who don't aspire to be American. I want people who like it, who want to make the place better and want to participate in it because they see it as good. We should not be letting people in who want to destroy it. Obviously, I can't imagine that anyone has to say that out loud, but apparently it has to be said out loud because it's not obvious to a lot of people. And the point is, it is what I just said anti-immigrant? No, it's anti-people who hate us. And I have a right to be anti-people who hate us..." - Bret Weinstein on immigration, with Carl Benjamin 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

"I'm not going to tell you who is playing in the game. I'm not going to tell you who is starting, what package we have in, what play we're running. I'm not going to tell you any of that. So we can make it great and have a great press conference, or we can make it uncomfortable. I'm not going to tell you because what you know, the Cowboys know, and every other team knows. That's not in the competitive interest of our football team. I think you can respect that." - John Harbaugh

🗣️🔥 | Ruben Amorim goes on a rant when confronted with critics that Milan played a defensive game against Juventus after promising dominant offensive football: “I understand the pressure. I understand that when a young guy, comes to Italy, to tell you how to play your football, it's really hard. In the very first moment you are waiting to tell me in my face. The only thing that I promise, is that team is going to be in the first place. My intention is always to dominate the game, but then Spalletti, Fabregas, all these guys are really good, and will push us. If we won, some guys would have to keep that question one more week in the pocket. My intention is always be better than the opponent; I will try, but then, you have Spalletti. Spalletti was better than me. That's normal. Everytime we don't dominate in terms of creativity, you are going to tell me that I promised it. No, I did not. I didn't promise it. I promised that my intention is going to be that, but sometimes I'm not going to be able to give you what you want. I told my players that we need to be perfect every game, because people are expecting us to sleep.”

Please take a minute to listen to an 18 year old Arvid Lindblad's response to a world champion asking him 'What is this world like, the F1 world? You've obviously been in F2, but this is something different altogether, the pressure it brings.' Arvid: "It is very different and to be honest it's hard for me to really answer that now because I've only done a weekend, I don't really know what it's all like but I think it's an interesting point you make on pressure because a lot of people told me and you know.. I've done one weekend I don't want to talk too much but coming into this weekend a lot of people said there's going to be a lot of pressure and all this and that. In the end, I'm here for myself, I worked my whole life to get to Formula One, I don't have to do it for anyone, I'm here for myself because when I was five years old I had a dream and my dream was to be in Formula One and I was living my dream today and I just wanted to do as best as I possibly could you know and yeah."

Asked Michael Porter Jr. about his breakout with the Nets and David Adelman saying the Nuggets used him correctly: “I think whenever you have a team that talented, a championship-caliber team, there's going to be guys that sacrifice. Some of the shots and some of the ways they probably could have used me, we had enough good players to where we could create a good shot in a different way. I didn't need to come off of a screen and be high usage in that way and shoot some of the tough shots that I'm shooting here, which I can make, but over there those may not be considered the most highest percentage compared to what we could get. So, that's with every good team. But it is good to be able to kind of show what I'm capable of and kind of get some of the recognition. It’s tough as a player when you know what you can do and you are asked to do something different and then people criticize you for it. That can be tough. But it's part of the NBA, it's part of being adaptable, and it's part of being on a really good team for a lot of years. You just got to accept your role and do what the coach asks in whatever situation you're in.”

260612 #ALD1 DAY1 FANCON #LEO 🦁: Ah... wow... Hello. To be honest, we were preparing for this fancon at the same time as our comeback, so we didn't have much time and I was really worried. I kept wondering, 'Will we be able to do well?'. I had a lot of worries and thoughts like that. And... I don't know, since we haven't performed in a while, I think I was personally very worried. I felt anxious and had a lot of mixed emotions. But now that I'm actually standing on stage, hearing the cheers of our fans and feeling this energy we share together firsthand, I'm truly so, so happy. I don't know, I really believe this is just the beginning, I truly believe that. In the future, we are going to become a team that rises all the way to the top, so I hope everyone here today will stay with us until that day comes. We will work really hard. Thank you so much! And also to our global fans... yeah! Oh... Honestly, thank you guys so much for being here, for being present here at our first fancon. There's been a lot of ups and downs along the way, but... you know, we made it here finally. And we're just so grateful for you guys, um, you know, to have you guys here. I know it's not easy to, you know, come all the way here, it's a very long trip, but I just want to thank you guys so much. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. And we're gonna try our very best to get to the top, so I really hope you guys are gonna stay with us till the end. Thank you! Love you!

🎥| "I want to take this opportunity to, yes, thank you all, for the fifteenth time, and this won't be the last time tonight. But listen, I feel so lucky and grateful to be able to do what I do, but obviously, I couldn't do it without the trust you give me. I'm out of breath and I haven't even started singing yet. Just give me a second. I know you're going to react to this, but listen, I don't consider myself the best singer in the world, I don't consider myself the best artist in the world. I don't judge myself as the best performer in the world. Just don't. Just don't. But I think what all this shows is that I'm from a small town in Doncaster, right? Where we don't usually get opportunities like this. And when I have all of you, I feel like I can do anything, absolutely anything. And on nights like this, when you look around and see what we've created together, it's incredible. I see you trying to gain. It's above the waist. It doesn't count. [interacting with a fan] Yes, I just want to say that this is one of those really, really special moments. I feel so proud of what we've created together. And you should feel proud of yourselves too!" Louis Tomlinson on stage at #HDWGHWTBologna

The lack of perceived value of the LIV Golf League and its teams has attracted a lot of attention over the past few years. But Bryson DeChambeau’s Crushers GC have been one of the most successful franchises and he says they’ve cleared more than $20 million in revenue: “I'll tell you from our side of the coin, that the Crushers have been doing very well. We hired a GM and we’re hiring more people this year, but it's slow. I'm not over expanding too quick, like some teams, and I feel like we're a lean, mean machine. It's done great and we've been having positive EBITDA, positive for the past few seasons and our revenue is above $20 million, which is amazing. And next year it's going to be even more. “So, I'm pretty pumped about our team, and what we have the capability of doing. You know me, I'm always optimistic. I always want to see the best in people, and want to see how to create the most value. So, all I can speak for is how I run the team and what we've done economically for the team has been.. quite amazing. “You know, it’s been a lot of work, but I'm personally stoked for how my GM is running the team and how we we're running as, you know, I can be quite honest, we're doing the best out of any team. So, I'm really, really happy about that. And, I wouldn't be doing this any other way.” The $20 million figure caught me off guard, and I’m sure it will many others. Especially with so much being reported about the lack of revenue within the league. This once again proves Bryson’s value and highlights the strong position he is in with his contract negotiations. While we’re on contacts, is Bryson bringing back Paul Casey, Charles Howell III and Anirban Lahiri to Crushers GC in 2026? “Yes, the same guys are coming back. Yeah, I love them to death and they're great people, great golfers.” And while we talk about changes, does Bryson think LIV Golf could improve on anything? “Yeah, I mean, there’s plenty of things that the PGA Tour could improve on, right? And I can go through a bucket of that with that tour, and I could do the same with LIV, right? “Nobody's perfect. No organisation's perfect. But I could tell you that the opportunities at LIV and the ability to grow team golf is so intriguing and so interesting to me that that's where I stake my home and ground there. It’s where I want to be, but ultimately, it's got to make sense for everybody. Because I could just do YouTube golf and be totally fine as well.” He went on develop that answer when asked about whether he thinks a deal to renew his contact could be completed before the first event of the LIV Golf League season in Riyadh, in February: “I don't know about before Riyadh, there's a lot of things to go through.. You know, it's a scenario that is very unique. With Brooks leaving it definitely throws in some unique things. And look, I mean, like I've said all along, I want to do this, I want to grow team golf across the globe. But it has to be right. And there's a lot of things that have to be done in order for it to be right, you know? “Things have got to change. Things have got to improve. And I think Scott's done a fabulous job with the year that he's had. And I think this year's going to be even better, now he's got the right people in place and he can run the organisation, the way he wants to do this here. So it's going to be interesting to see, especially with the new branding coming on. It's going to be interesting to see what happens. “I don't run this thing at all. I don't really have much say to be honest with you. Which is funny, but it is what it is, right? And, you know, I sometimes wish I had more say, but that's life and I don't run the organisation and I trust them to do that. “Ultimately, I just go play golf and try to entertain as best as I possibly can. So I trust Scott and Katie and Chris, everybody there to make the right decisions and continue to go forward with that. And we'll see what the year has in store for us.” Bryson DeChambeau

Drew Timme on people doubting him: "In college and since I've left, it's you can't do this, you can't do that, you're not good enough for this and that. All these things that I can't do. And I see it, and it's fuel. At the end of the day I'm a good player I believe in myself and my abilities and I believe that I can impact the game at any level anywhere. To be able to have this opportunity and to be able to help the team it's great"

"I speak to the #Jets fans: I know what this city's expectations is, & I know what this city desires, & I don't come in with any false hope or false promises. I'm only letting you know that I'm committed to the work. That I'm here to serve. That I'm here to give every part of me, to help be a part of what's being built, & to lead in a way that everyone who is watching will be proud of."- Demario Davis

This seemed like a pretty good lesson for all of us to remember today. We never know who’s looking at us or watching us, but we know that God is. So we should always try to be on our best behavior because I truly believe in what most people call karma but I call the scales of justice.

This Is Deep. How Many People In America Feel This EXACT SAME Way? “I'm done in America. I'm so sick and tired of this country. Sick and tired of turning on the news and seeing our president barely be able to put 2 freaking words together and we're supposed to believe that he's signing our executive orders. I'm sick and tired of walking outside wanting to enjoy my day and looking up and seeing lines in the sky that I know are sprayed aluminum intentionally there to make us sick. I'm sick and tired of going to the grocery store and knowing that the food system is intricately designed to make us sick or the pharmaceuticals that are there to keep us sick. Knowing that we've been lied to about our history, there were ancient civilizations back then that had power. I'm sick and tired of being lied to about slavery. I'm tired of going to my job, knowing that it's just there to enslave us, and then they take half of our pay away and do whatever the heck they want with it. It's exhausting. And I need to know that I'm not the only one. And I don't know. Maybe today it just, you know, some days it just hits me a little bit harder. I do my best. I eat only pasture raised meats. I, you know, only buy pasture raised eggs. I take oregano oil and elderberry and silver, and I get sick. I do my part, fight the system and to not get sucked into that. I have never received (vaccine shot) and I never ever will. Knowing that that's all out there and knowing that this country we've been lied to and gaslit into believing that it's the best country in the world and it's a very beautifully orchestrated design to get its citizens to want to stay here and believe that we're the only great country and we're the only great country so we don't leave. Is it elsewhere they don't pump their food full of crap to keep their citizens sick, kill off their citizens? And I'm just tired. I'm just absolutely over it all, and I don't know. It's almost claustrophobic. It's just so gut wrenching.” I recommend watching this video, it hits different.

“You're not entitled to get what you want. I love you. You're entitled to earn what you're willing to go work for. And that's true in our families, in our parenting, in our marriage, in our companies, in society. If we want it, go earn it. If that's positivity, have positivity. I think and I am a positive person. I am jacked. I am excited. Obviously, you can feel my energy through technology here, I hope. Frankly, think positive people just need to get a lot stronger. I really do. I mean, I don't want to call them weak because people hear that differently but it kind of is. Look, if you want that positivity to stick, you’ve got to get tougher. Not sacrifice your love and your care and your empathy, but you got to get tough. And then we have to figure out how to love the people who are cynical because I don't think there's a ton of bad people in the world and I don't think there's a ton of bad people on teams. But I do think there are people who've been burned out. I do think there are people who have been through things in their lives. They've been through things in their company. They're experiencing stuff somewhere else. For whatever reason, they just kind of got run down and cynical and negative, or whatever. Or they're just wired a little different than we are. And I don't to hate on those people. I want to win those people. They don't have to be like me. They don't have to have my energy. But I want those people on my team. I want to love those people. And if eventually they choose that they don't believe in the same things that I believe in, I want to make it really clear and obvious that they don't want to be on this team because we're not about that. You know what I'm saying? I want it to be very easy, obvious, that, ‘Hey I should not be on this team. Because this team is full of very positive people who have great energy and talk to people, not about them.’ And we solve problems. We don't complain. We don't get defensive. We're real. I recognize I'm imperfect and I'm vulnerable to show you that about me. I want to be on that kind of a team. And if there's somebody who doesn’t believe in that stuff, I want to make it really easy for them to say, ‘Look, I don't want to be on this team. I don't wanna live like you guys live. I don't want do what you guys do.’ And then I really hope that that person leaves us and goes and joins our competitor.”
