Aave V4 is now live on Ethereum.

After two years of research and building, V4 brings an all-new architecture to help Aave support more assets, market structures, and risk profiles. V4 runs on the same @chainlink oracle infrastructure that already secures tens of billions of dollars on V3 today.

Users can supply and borrow assets from @circle, @ethena, @tether, @ether_fi, @LidoFinance, @Lombard_Finance, @FraxFinance, @Ripple, @global_dollar, @pendle_fi, and more. Supply and borrow caps are limited due to a security-first approach to growth and will scale up over time.

Aave V4 underwent approximately 345 cumulative days of security review. All published reports are available here:

From the very beginning, Aave was built to operate at global scale and grow into a permissionless protocol at the center of all finance. With the launch of Aave V4 that journey continues.

If you are an Aave V3 user, nothing changes for you and you can continue using V3 at V3 is unaffected by today's launch. There will be no changes and it will continue operating as usual.
