@TheMaineWire They say the same thing here in Maine. We KNOW crime is up, we see it, yet our stats say it’s down. I’ve never felt I needed to carry protection here, until the last 6 or so years, I never leave home without it.
In reality, the amount of crime is not dropping. Documentation of crimes is being reduced.

Living near the south side of Chicago for many years and seeing 2k to 4k people shot almost every year and nothing serious being done about it. I often thought the best solution was the National Guard to be stationed in the most dangerous areas. Glad to see Trump asking for this to be done in DC. After success there, hopefully will continue in other high risk places.

Danger extends to all dem led metros who are churning out violent offenders with no bail on second and third charges. Imagine being a witness to a murder, And the dem DA lets the murderer back out. Guess who gets a personal visit? Does the criminal have anything to lose?

Surprised they didn't cut the feed.... This is no surprise. My cousin, who lives in DC, was attacked randomly by a mentally ill person (punched). It's almost like the more politics in a given area, the more of a cesspool of crime it becomes.
