Public illumination: Tonight, we visited Zithobeni, in Bronkhorstspruit, to witness the public illumination of streets in this area for the first time in decades. The city has installed 73 streetlights in Rethabiseng and 28 streetlights in Zithobeni Ext 4. We joined residents, local councillors and the MMC for Utility Services Cllr Frans Boshielo to energise these streetlights. We want our communities to be accessible day and night and this project will ensure that this objective is achieved. Last year, the city conducted similar programmes in Rama City and Hammanskraal.
