It takes the sting out of white privilege. For you workday humps who’d like to know something about the candidate beyond slick 30-second commercials, it’s worth noting that El-Sayed never worked in a factory, and aside from some part-time gigs at various colleges, his resume is thin. Very thin. The first thing you need to know is that El-Sayed is a paper doctor. He’s never treated a patient, is not licensed in Michigan, and never passed the board examinations. He can’t so much as dispense aspirin from an ambulance. The second thing you need to know is that El-Sayed, 41, has worked just two real jobs in his adult life, totaling less than four years, according to his resume. This from a guy who wants to be senator for life. What’s troubling is where he worked and what he actually accomplished: He was appointed as the top public health official in Detroit and then Wayne County. Both departments are an historical quagmire of corruption and incompetence. Believe me, I know, I helped put one director behind bars for, among other things, embezzling public health dollars to pay for hair plugs. For his part, El-Sayed was appointed as Detroit’s health director in 2015 by then-Mayor Mike Duggan. At that time, as the city was emerging from its historic bankruptcy, El-Sayed’s health department was funneling hundreds of thousands of dollars into a pet program run by Duggan’s mistress. The program was supposed to lower infant mortality rates in the city. After just 17 months on the job, El-Sayed resigned to run for governor. Then Mistress-gate scandal exploded and infant mortality skyrocketed. Nothing changed. To El-Sayed’s credit, before resigning as health director, he commissioned a report that showed Duggan’s demolition blitz was poisoning the city’s children. That program is now the subject of a sprawling FBI investigation. However, El-Sayed the candidate has said little about it. A couple years and cups of coffee later, El-Sayed was appointed in 2023 as the medical chief of Wayne County. According to his own campaign commercial, El-Sayed’s biggest accomplishment was a partnership with a nonprofit that supplied 16,000 eye glasses to needy children. What the commercial does not tell you is that the nonprofit existed for a decade beforehand and the county’s portion was funded primarily by Biden’s Covid bucks. One-time inflationary federal dollars is no solution to a health crisis. All the while, life expectancy in Detroit continues to crater from pre-pandemic levels, hovering around 70 years old. That’s hardly an effective record. There are also serious questions about El-Sayed’s campaigns finance problems, including indications of straw donors, actual contributors blowing past legal limits, and a Super PAC committed to spending millions of dollars on his behalf. Then there are the disturbing questions regarding the mental fitness of those he surrounds himself with, including a former staffer charged with terrorism, a current staffer who says all white women are racist (ironically, that staffer herself is a white woman), and a prominent podcaster who once said America deserved 9/11. And can we get a timeline of when he actually lived in Michigan? But those are stories for another day. Go ahead and plant your yard signs rich white guy. That's your right. "Well, look, [Republicans can] never take anything for granted, but obviously he's much further to the left, much farther outside of the political mainstream. I mean, you talk about the world being in chaos -- during the campaign, a leaked audio from his campaign came out -- Abdul el-Sayed -- in which he was worried about commenting on the death of the Ayatollah because he didn't want to offend his supporters. Yeah, the world is in chaos, and this guy can't figure out what side of the ball he's on. And so, I think Republicans look forward to running against this, because there won't be a brighter line than between Abdul el-Sayed and Mike Rogers."

Jonni Skinner is a heroic young man Jonni S🦎. If you are willing to understand what Gender Affirming "Care" actually entails from what it looks like in a gender clinic here in Michigan, please listen to his experience. He was naturally effeminate and gay as a boy where he was therefore not accepted by many around him. He sought answers for the traumas he was living through. At 13 years old, he was placed on a medicalized path at the University of Michigan to attempt to change him into a girl. The doctor contended that he was not gay, he was just a girl. He was diagnosed with "tall stature" because the doctor told him if he was too tall as a girl, he would not be able to find a mate. They therefore deliberately stunted his growth as if being tall was a disease. He was 5'7 at the time. Nine years later, he is 5'8. He was diagnosed with an endocrine disorder related puberty that he did not have to be placed on puberty blockers and cross sex hormones. The doctor used fraudulent coding more than 100 times in his medical records. He was prescribed "affirming gear" where they sent him to a sex shop across the state in Wyandotte. His doctors fearmongered him and his mother saying the phrase "would you like to have a dead son, or a living daughter". They threatened to take him from his mother if she refused their malicious pharmaceutical path. His doctor ignored the ailments related to the powerful drugs he was placed on and dismissed the sexual disfunction they were causing him by saying he could seek other means of "pleasure". The doctors ultimately ghosted him in 2021 by legitimately hanging up on him and never speaking with him again. His unique ailments related to this "care" have him being turned away from doctors today. He deserves justice and actual care. We hope to aid him in that endeavor.

For anyone saying Khamzat's style is boring... Have you watched his fights? When was the last time he was in a 'boring' fight? He went in there and had the most dominant performance, ever, from a challenger. Dricus gave him no reason to change the game plan. And props to DDP. He never quit. He was just outmatched on the night. I believe Dricus when he says he's gonna come back better.

watching the trailer again it seems to me like chan is being given 2 options 🤔 this (the regular life where he had a normal job) or that (the life where he's rich and famous). even though he tries to choose 'this', his voice comes out all distorted and the barista insists on giving him 'that'. and even the cup that he presented as 'this' was turned so it actually read 'that'. as if he never had a choice at all and his fate was already decided for him

When The Lord of the Rings was finally published, in 1954 and 1955, he was in his early sixties. Buster Gets His Happy Ending 🥹🐶🥰🙏 Buster was on a chain for years on cold concrete. We were told it was because he was vicious and dangerous. It turns out he was the complete opposite. He only knew love and his fav thing to do was sniff the flowers. The first part of his long recovery was his health… 👂 He had to have an ear removed as it had been left for so long 🫁 He could hardly walk 10 yards as he was so unfit. We were able to build his stamina up 🧫 He had a bad fungal infection all over. It took lots of care and bathing to fix 🥴 Buster started having epileptic fits. It was vital he had an owner who could help him with his medicine and care. He found that owner in Kitty who came all the way to visit him. To say they fell in love would be an understatement. She takes him on hikes, he goes to work with her as a tennis coach and every video I see he is sleeping in her bed with a big stuffed toy. Although his medical history is complicated he is well looked after now and proves that you should never give up in life. There is always hope. I’ve never met a friendlier or more gentle dog in my whole life than Buster. He deserves this. Well done to Buster and Kitty 🥰🙏

Wayne Gretzky would be the NHL's all-time points leader if he had never scored a goal. He has more assists than the next best has assists+goals player. This, to me, is the most insane stat in all of sports. He was so much greater than the next-best player that he’s actually in a league of his own—he has no peer group in the sport. Whoever is #2 is actually the “greatest hockey player ever.”

250727 warning in taipei #우지 white puppy trainee woozi <3 👤 i never scolded them, there were times when everyone was scolded and howoo were present, i have no memory of scolding howoo individually. they were the standard for trainees. woozi was able to learn choreography within an hour but he didn’t go home and waited for the others. so he was someone who never really expressed [when he had hardships]. if i were to give an extreme example, when he was a trainee he had to remove his wisdom teeth but he went to the practice room and sat there alone. so i asked him what was wrong and it was to the level where he said it was so painful that he wanted to go home. he was someone who even when he was in pain he didn’t express it, if he was struggling he didn’t say so, a white puppy who listened to instructions well

Never, in 35 years has a tiny ever successfully escaped me. When I shrunk Steve he was sitting in his car which shrunk down with him, I picked up the whole car and brought it inside. Set it down, and kicked off my sandals, he immediately tried to drive away.. my foot is 4x bigger than his car.
