NOBODY tells you the real reason people move to Dubai. It’s not the taxes. Everyone leads with the taxes because it’s the easy answer. The real reason is quieter and harder to admit. It’s that for the first time in your life, the country is on your side. You spend 30 years in the West being treated like a suspect. Your bank watches you. Your government taxes you and resents you for earning it. The news tells you that wanting to be successful makes you the problem. Then you land here and something flips. The bank wants your business. The government wants you to build. Nobody looks at your wealth like you stole it. Nobody makes you apologize for working hard. You don’t realize how heavy that weight was until somebody takes it off your back. That’s the part the haters will never understand. They think people move here to dodge a tax bill. Newsom’s Tax Deadline Arrives Gavin Newsom promised to release his remaining tax returns by the end of July. Tomorrow is the last day of the month. His office said two weeks ago the records “will be shared this month.” So far, nothing has been released. The last public returns (2020) showed the Newsoms earned nearly $1.5 million and paid roughly $480,000 in federal taxes. Most of that income came from businesses now held in a blind trust. When asked why the newer returns still haven’t appeared, Newsom replied: “And you will have all those new tax returns, because — I have no reason why you haven’t gotten them already.” (Video: AI) The clock is up. We’ll see if the promised transparency actually arrives.

Good morning to everyone in Massachusetts who agrees with Senator Warren’s honest admission that Democrats are no longer trusted by working Americans. When Warren says, “Once, we were trusted by working people,” that should be a wake-up call, not a throwaway line. Trust isn’t lost overnight. It’s lost when families feel squeezed by rising costs, when policies sound good on paper but make daily life harder, and when elected officials seem more focused on ideology than results. Working people want affordability, accountability, and common sense. They want a government that listens, respects their paycheck, and understands that every new program, mandate, or tax comes out of their pocket. At this point, even Democrats are saying the quiet part out loud. When their own representatives admit they’ve lost the trust of working Americans, it’s hard to deny that their policies have failed the people they claim to represent.
