CJP leader Abhijeet Dipke is saying that if the Education Minister does not resign, then from June 28, Sonam Wangchuk will join the protest and begin an indefinite hunger strike. He says the hunger strike will continue until the Education Minister resigns. Abhijeet Dipke is also saying that the protest has only just begun. This morning, Abhijeet Dipke said that the police had taken Sonam Wangchuk from the CJP protest to the hospital, and that he would continue the hunger strike in Sonam Wangchuk's place. But Abhijeet couldn't stay hungry for even 5 hours. He has now changed his stand, saying that he has decided not to go on stage until Sonam Wangchuk returns and will instead sit on the ground and continue the protest. Sonam Wangchuk has been picked up from Jantar Mantar and forcefully taken to a hospital. This is not out of a concern for Sonam Wangchuk's health. This is to shut down a democratic protest. If this government cared about protesters, they would not have let GD Agarwal die. If this government cared about protesters, they would have opened up a dialogue with the hundreds of people still sitting at Jantar Mantar. Instead of protecting students, the government is protecting the Education Minister. We must all go to Jantar Mantar right now if we can. We must all join the Sansad Chalo march on 20th July.
