AISA president Neha Bora, who staged a 22-day fake hunger strike during the CJP protest for attention, was not taken seriously by anyone at the CJP protest. The CJP leadership did not include Neha Bora in any important discussions, nor did Abhijeet Dipke give her a place on the CJP's main stage to conduct her hunger strike. CJP spokespersons Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka met government ministers 4-5 times, but they never took Neha Bora with them. Junaid, who fed around 2,000 people every day for 40 days during the CJP protest, started playing the victim card after the protest ended when the police questioned him about the funding and asked where the money for feeding so many people was coming from. He claimed that he had nothing to do with the protest or the CJP leaders and said he had only served food to students. He even claimed that Abhijeet Dipke and Saurav Das had abandoned him, trying to gain sympathy and portray himself as a victim.
