We found Noe in distress having kicked away his blankets and positioning himself awkwardly. He looked so defeated. We felt the pain medication maybe wasn’t enough so he went back to emergencies for an increase and a revision as we need to be sure he’s stable enough to be operated on Tuesday. It’s so hard to know how much is pain and much is defeat. He seemed a bit better when we brought him into the sun. What a hard week.

Unfortunately, I am sharing very sad news. Buster has been sick since September. We knew we had little time left with him, but were hoping we would not lose him this soon. He's always been a tough dog, so he hasn't seemed too sick. He has been pretty good lately, but yesterday he took a turn, and we had to say goodbye to him in the middle of the night. How do you say goodbye to your souldog? We don't know how, we may never know. But one thing we do know. Buster was the happiest as long as he was with us, and we were the same with him. We made the decision several years ago, wherever we travel, he's coming with us. He had a great life with lots of good treats and sniffs. I always told Buster daily, he is an angel sent from heaven. He's up there running free without pain watching over us now. Our hearts are broken.💔

Local accounts identify him as Hashmat Khan, the son of PTI lawmaker Zahid Ullah Khan. The footage appears to show armed men in plain clothes surrounding him and forcing him into a vehicle. He is 8 years old, turning 9 soon. Unschooling (homeschooling) is a very very wide subject for me to talk about. For me- it’s NOT about ‘education’, it’s a way of life. But we have evolved in this journey as a family. Lot of our fears come up and we keep working with it. What is his schedule? Well, he designs his schedule. We, as a family, discuss and try to build something that works for all of us. What is his curriculum? Everything that interests him is his curriculum. Who teaches him? To be honest till last year we didn’t need anyone. Basic stuff in life, every real life experience was teaching him. But now as he has grown, he has specific and detailed interests- so if any one of us knows, then we otherwise we find someone who is passionate about his interest areas. If no one is teaching him, there is no curriculum and he doesn’t have a ‘fixed’ schedule - then how does he learn? What is the role of a parent in his life? Well, that’s a valid question. Our role is to facilitate his journey. Bring reflection to him so that he thinks for himself. Bring exposure so that he chooses. Have conflict with him as we can’t be aligned with him in every way and still keep loving him… ❤️😊 Yes, for me- this path is not easy at all as it brings lot of my fears on the surface and I constantly have to work harder on myself. But believe me, this is the best decision we could have taken as a family. Believe me, every discomfort is worth it !!!!! The joy and fulfilment I experience in his life, I sometimes envy him 😅🙈 and my constant guiding light 💡 is @aarohi_life_education If you have more questions, do write it in the comment below P.s. we are not at all against schooling, we are also not against any system…we are only choosing to be WITH the child. No Dear ! So sorry. We can’t let him go. I truly understand and respect everyone’s concern.. It comes from a place of care and love. But right now, we don’t feel it’s time to let him go… and honestly, it doesn’t feel like he wants to go either. Even in pain, he still wants to live.. he still wants to play ,he responds, he looks for our touch, our love, our presence. When we sit with him, cuddle him, or just hold him, he lights up in his own way. That tells us a lot 🥰 So for now, we’re choosing to stay with him, love him, and support him.. as long as he is still choosing us too. ❤️❤️ Here is the video.. latest one ..
