The day I entered one chance and got robbed of my iPhone 8 Plus I wanted to run mad, I was still having mad PTSD from traffic robbery of my iPhone 6 Plus in owerri . If no be my mama , I for mad that period . PTSD is crazy

This is what I do not miss about Nigeria. I have lost my wallet, my Phone and my glasses several times in Canada, several buses several times at night, in downtown etc. I ALWAYS GOT THEM BACK. ALWAYS. my wallet with money and atm fell at a bus stop at night I went there and picked it up it was still there hours after it fell from my pocket. But in Naija I Never Ever got my missing phone not even once. Even when I used a taxi only me hired the taxi and my Samsung A7 then the phone had just come out 2 years prior. I took a taxi went to the park I entered the taxi from asked for the driver they said they hadn’t seen him and that when he comes they’ll tell him my phone dropped in his taxi. Till today I was never contacted to collect my phone. At the time I was still very young so I was hoping This man knows me he has seen me a few times in the area, I know him and he knows where I usually enter taxi from and where I drop off so no shaking I will get my phone back it’s just a matter of time. I kept calling the phone it was ringing but no answer until at around 10pm it stopped ringing. Naija we can do better. We mustn’t be rich before we live good life, even in poverty there are some little things that can make life worth living. Contentment, security, friendship, family, love, cleanliness, these things are free. Even with $0 in your account you can be a good decent human being, you can clean your environment, you mustn’t be dirty and you mustn’t be a thief.
