Total boomer luxury communism is getting old

The wealth of Boomers didn't come from "hard work" it came from their Assets appreciation from decades of money printing and inflation of their houses and stocks. Called Cantillon effect, Boomers will be unable to get their wealth if they can't liquidate before hyperinflation.

Boomers have a loud Congress to steal all the money out of the Social Security fund. Congress has allowed non-citizens to collect Social Security at full benefits so whose fault is this

The problem is boomers are either super wealthy or super broke.

We'd have been in better shape had Nixon not looted the S.S. fund to help support the General fund. And BTW, Presidents AFTER Nixon did the same thing..

Part of the issue is there are lots of Boomers that make under 2k a month on SSI and for whatever reason or the other that is their only income. Most of those then go to Medicaid and then the states will be paying their Medicare premiums and co-pays along with food stamps and rent assistance etc.. It might cost us more to get rid of it.

I don’t think anyone who actually needs it should have it yanked. But I do think before you tax young people more it needs to be means tested. Does Warren Buffet need a social security check? Should Tim and the other cooks at the pizza restaurant have to fund it for him?

Even if we said, anyone with a networth of say 5mil can no longer claim SSI, that isn't enough people to come off it to make it solvent. SSI is completely broken and its not because rich people take benefits.

Boomers want you to believe they worked hard for their wealth. They were handed the greatest economy in history and rode it into the ground. Their parents were the “greatest” generation and they are by far the worst generation

Those charts need to be put on a log scale

TAX OFFSHORING. Boomers lost theirs jobs to shipping jons overseas and importing cheap labor so Elites could become wealthy. Stop playing into their hands with this generational division crap. It's The Elites vs Everyone Else

Congress should take a pay cut and have it diverted into social security. They have been raising their pay every few years all while robbing the social security fund to nothing

xenial here:. Had we let half of our SS be invested in the Bush years (A campaign promise btw) we would have been ok. Sure a scare in 2008. But it ultimately would have worked out.

This is not a PER CAPITA chart, of course Boomers have more in total, there are more of them

Retarded. What age did they start getting that growth, did they vote for socialism & communism that is destroying shit over the last 30 years? No.

Do NOT raise the ratRe, raise the CAP, Which only impacts 6% of workers

Younger generations don’t have any investments to gain interest. I didn’t have any money to invest until my forties and there’s not much there.

I want to see SS redone to individual accounts which can be inherited by survivors in your family, & state run insurance to cover premature death or disability. We need to look at how Galveston Texas set up its SS program.

Yes, because money was worth more back then so they were able to buy more gold and silver than what we are you see gold I think in the 1950s was what $25 an ounce now it’s $4000 an ounce

you pay into SS. it will be fine. It is the ultimate in efficiency and a complete “get what you pay for” program which fiscal conservatives love.

As a gen xer, I think if the boomers knew what would happen in the future they would not have gone for it. Many of them spoke out against what they saw happening and judges overturned their votes state by state

People seething with envy is the problem It's also disgusting They worked If you want things like them then work There are many boomers who don't have everything you claim they do It's gross watching u crash out over decades and decades of them working

Фото профиля Troy Forge
Troy Forge13 дней назад

No, and you are reading the chart wrong. The young generation isn't due for a J shape until they get to the age the boomers were at when their J hit. X is hitting their J. You have to have something saved and then inflation hits. Most boomers and X gens had little at his age.
