Absence from God. Nothing is more terrifying than that.

Hell is not the thing to fear. Hell is a consequence of not fearing the Lord.

Christ went to Hell to redeem the saints AND to preach the gospel to the dead also. There are two types of Hell; Sheol & Ghenna. Everyone after 1st resurrection goes to Sheol unless Christ comes today. Many (most) sadly in Sheol are reserved for Ghenna (lake if fire 🔥 ).
