What a difference good commentary does!. Today's commentators would have just called it an 'absolute shocker' and moved on. Boy, I miss the old channel 9 Commentary team.....

Classic. 'Aussie style' is to take the catch. I find it way difficult to catch it that way.

This was only 32 years ago, but can you imagine the uproar and hysterics these days if a commentator talked about a player wanting to “shoot himself”? Simpler times…….

I somehow always remember this game..sachin eventually got out to waugh caught by Whitney at deep extra cover. Last year I visited the SCG and talked about the game with an old timer there who very kindly pointed me to the spot of the catch..
