Richie's observational commentary is perfect to start but then he chooses to go quiet and for 20 odd seconds the anticipation bubbles to another level as a result... then crescendos with the sound of the ball crashing into the stumps. Every current commentator needs to take note.

Miss them both. Richie was a wonderful storyteller and Shane was a constant source of stories.
