In Alysa Liu we trust. This was definitely an improvement from her already strong performance in the team event. She is going to have to bring everything she has & skate super clean to break up the Japanese triumvirate at the top of the leader board. I believe she can do it.

It was a stunning display. You could just feel the lightness and joy from her heart while she was skating.

These skating routines have grown SO complex over the past 10-20yrs .. I’m not sure Dorothy Hamill did even a fraction of the technical skating here, even Michelle Kwan was fractional .. this is truly amazing!

I know nothing about skating, but I love her and her mindset about the Olympics. So rare.

If only she didn’t have spears sticking out of her gums….scary/devilish… not a good American 🇺🇸 look…

Alysa Liu is glowing! ✨ Her skating is incredible, but it’s her infectious joy and that radiant smile that truly light up the rink. She has this unique way of making everyone feel happy just by watching her. A true sunshine on ice!

I didn’t even bother watching Amber after all of her goofy comments I couldn’t tune into her, but I definitely am waiting for Alyssa and the other USA skater who’s in like seventh place I think.

I was completely mesmerized watching this performance. Soulful and poignant. My favorite skate of all the competitors.
