Sammy Virji absolutely shredded at forest hills yesterday. i’ve never seen a crowd so engaged and in sync- he had the entire stadium in a chokehold. his set flowed flawlessly and got better and better as it played out. this was my 4th time seeing virji and he’s sets are getting better and better. i can’t help but wonder what this show would’ve been like at the mirage…

The first of many timelapses from Thusday night - in this video you can see the aurora appears immediately after sunset, a sign that activity was strong! The colors from this G4 "severe" geomagnetic storm were unreal. I swear I saw the entire rainbow that night in the aurora. This was by far the best auroral display I have seen in my entire life, and I have seen hundreds. I love looking out the side window of the cupola on the International Space Station. This particular view is looking starboard toward Antarctica to catch the aurora — and look at the star movement! I’ve seen a lot of reds and greens in the aurora, but this one had some purple hues, as well. It’s just gorgeous.
