could really just post any scene from this movie with the same caption lol

@code_achu “have that dry cleaned” is such a good way to show character. the script here is genuinely perfect

The Dialogue is so good man Also it's hilarious how the Thomas Shelby comes out of Cilian the second he starts smoking

This movie has 10 scenes that you could call the best scene ever. It’s the best work of Nolan’s career

The pause after Oppenheimer says "antisemitism" and Grove's "...what?" is amazing. For a second it almost feels like he is trying to find out how the US being antisemitic will help them win and not that Germany's will make them lose.

Whatever doubts some may have about MD as an actor, this scene should remove them. The back and forth is absolutely insane

The dialogue is so amazing, i can listen to this for hours

“Poor security may cost us the race, inefficiency will.” Hands down, far and away, etc. etc. my favorite scene of the entire movie. Incredible writing.

Crazy you cut off your right before the music got good

The only man to say something nice about Oppie’s character was Richard Tollman, whose wife Oppie was sleeping with. Smh.

Every Oppenheimer scene is the greatest scene ever,it’s just impossibly good. This is what happens when you employ actors who are good at their jobs

people have been rumbling about the RDJ scene but personally, this scene is at the same wavelength, perhaps even better than that one

Fucking love how off-balance the "antisemitism" response makes Groves, he was perfectly controlled up until that point

Perhaps the most rosy cue of Göransson's (unbelievably good) score kicking in as this new relationship forms, with Oppenheimer starting to take root in a bigger field of power and influence, setting the inevitable in motion. This scene is a formal farewell to innocence.

This particular soundtrack did something to me the day I heard it in theaters on first viewing and nothing was the same after that lmfao

Hahaha they threw "antisemitism" in there lmao 🤣! Yeah it didn't have anything to do with the child brothels, trans experiments, or Jewish degeneracy in Weimar Germany, ol' Adolf was just a bigot LOL

The dialogue in this scene feels so Sorkin-esque. I love it!

I think when Oppenheimer admitted to not being able to run a burger stand, Groves definitely took note of that. Not humility. Just a guy with a very logical brain. Exactly what he needed. A geek too caught up in the science to realize the ethical dilemma.

obsessed with the score in this scene too

The conversation scene with Truman is also excellent.

Nolan went from this to Odyssey. Repugnant.

Watching it again just because of this tweet. What a movie.

The music

Scene after scene this movie rips

This film is so good that it makes The Odyssey relatively bad

Fine I'll rewatch Oppenheimer for the 5th time

Gods the writing was strong back then

I’ve never seen Matt Damon play a role that made me forget it was Matt Damon. We can do better than Matt Damon.

'If I ever meet one, I'll let you know'

When I was a little kid I used to watch Toy Story on the TV muted and voice all the characters’ dialogue myself. I’ve seen this movie so many fucking times I could do the same with it lmao.

Holy moly this writing is next freaking level, man. Not one boring line in this yet the conversation continues logically. I don't think conversations happen like this in real life but Nolan knows movies have different rules. Inspiring.

This entire exchange should be adopted into film dialogue textbook.

Matt somewhat out of his league here. Top tier.

This is Nolan not doing his homework when it comes to U.S. military. It's possible someone else mentioned this, but a Col would never treat a Lt. Col like that. A Col wouldn't even have a Lt. Col as their direct assistant. It would be some Capt or Lt.

Masterpiece. Two great actors, terrific script, and genius director. That’s all you need.
