@dawnstaley @nglwithkylie About being critics, I think we need to be able to critique all the women’s basketball players on their basketball skills in the same we do with the men just like Candace Parker said, in order to be taken seriously. These women don’t need to be protected.

@dawnstaley @nglwithkylie In any other league, athletes are critiqued all the time and it’s not then turned around and called bigotry, racism, or hate. No athlete plays perfectly and that’s okay! Every player has something they can work on and it’s those who work on them that end up getting even better!

But I've seen the biggest issue with fans is others using any criticism to negate what she does well. Discourse has moved to all of nothing online. It's pretty sad and extremely toxic.

Stan’s are those who think everyone is a hater b/c we call out bad parts of their fave athlete’s games
