😆ISO is a global msasging standard (mostly XML based). Assets, more specifically XRP & XLM have built/designed & positioned their infrastructure/networks/companies (whatever tickles your pickle) for interoperability with traditional finance & structured messaging like ISO 20022.

It takes in the bank's XML files, parses the data, and translates it into lightweight JSON / blockchain code that smart contracts can understand.

Once the transaction settles on the blockchain, Overledger translates it back into compliant XML and sends it back to the bank.

It's more about the legacy rails being upgraded meaning there is literally no edge for crypto in terms of ISO20022 compliance. It gives no crypto project an advantage.
