My pops used to referee Sunday league and handed out plenty of red and yellow cards for these tackles. I told him he shouldn't do the league but he did it for the exercise... I never went to watch a game. One day, some geezer whacked him for giving a red for a blatant foul... turned out he was a ringer, not listed on the team sheet as a regular team member. The geezer ran off the pitch, got changed and disappeared out the park, possibly the league. My pops and the team never saw him again.

I stopped playing Sunday football because of bellends like this. 8 years later I went back to play for a team and a massive scrap went on. One of the player’s Mrs ran on throwing haymakers too. That was the final straw for me. The game is full of sociopaths.
