The only people who support billionaires are people stupid enough to think everyone has a fair chance at becoming one

honestly Billionaires should be illegal.... especially when there's a good chunk of the country that cant even afford housing.

And it’s crazy to think that we’re talking about A BILLION! And these men in particular have even MORE than a simple billion. No one should have that much money, they could literally stop the world hunger if they want, or more.

I have no problem with billionaires as long as they pay their fair share. The real problem is that billionaires, like Donald Trump pay $750 in taxes.

Glad the kids are catching on. The difference between a Million, Billion, and Trillion is not just a consonant or two. Nor is it just some extra zeros. Language is shorthand, and efficiency in expressing something can mask its scope.

Its just all too sketchy to me how can someone earn that much money

I wouldn't have a problem with someone having billions, AFTER their full taxes were paid.

This lady doesn't kmow it yet but she just made the best case here to end the Federal Reserve

Its actually sad how much people think millionaires and billionaires are even in the same stratosphere. I think the wealthy elite made those numbers rhyme on purpose to confuse people

She is retarded. None of them has this money; it's a debt. Start learning about finance before posting uninformative videos on the internet.

This beyond stupid lol. -You create a company, -employ people, -others see your company to be valuable, they invest in it, -your total share value increases to a billion or more and then suddenly you’re a bad guy? Ridiculous!

One of my favorite calculations on this topic is to figure out how much money Elon Musk would have made per hour if he worked a 40 hour work week from the time humans diverged from chimps. If I recall, it's about $30/hr.

Yall get on here daily and complain about how expensive it is to live and break down how not even 100k is enough to be comfortable and the turn around say a billion is too much. I just feel folks are hyper reactive and never satisfied .. ur too broke, ur too rich ..jus miserable

Good thing we have democrats to tell everyone how much money they can have.

I did not need to know that Im older than 1 billion seconds

I guess you don’t own a business 😂😂😂😂

The one thing that needs to happen to prevent billionaires holding on to their unrealized gains is to prevent them from opening lines of credit against the shares. All of the sudden they have to pay the taxes.

You just made there day if they see this and that is why they are always alone because they have screwed over so many people to get that billion if we are going to keep there taxes low they should have to agree that they put there money in the US economy.

And to think Elon bought this platform for 44 BILLION. Billionaires have WAY too much wealth. That should not even be a conceivable amount of money controlled by one person.

Stupid people telling others what they can and cannot have …

Somebody did this with grains of rice and that visual was striking. Thats what made it hit in my mind back then.

The animosity towards billionaires is completely manufactured. There is a massive wealth inequality problem in the US, but it's not because of billionaires. The US government spends ~7 trillion dollars every year, with a deficit of around 2 trillion dollars. That means on top of the 5 trillion they collect in taxes, they also print 2 trillion additional dollars. First, net worth does not equal dollars in the bank account; that's how much people are worth on paper. The billionaires in the US hold around ~8/9 trillion in wealth. Let's assume you could actually liquidate this 9 trillion; then you could run the government for ~1.2 years, and then you're at the same problem again. It's basic supply and demand: the more dollars there are, the more expensive goods become. Assets like stocks and houses inflate along with dollars. It's really hard for the bottom 50% of Americans to get ahead because they are living paycheck to paycheck and don't own any stocks. The top 50% of Americans are in the stock market, so they catch the upside of inflation. There is alot more to the picture but because liberals are so lazy and stupid they just repeat the next thing their King's tell them to. Whatever the democratic party kings tell them to parrot they will. There is 0 diversty of thought on the left, and there is 0 critical thinking on the left.

Ppl are talking like wealth makes you metaphysically different, instead of just putting you in a different tax bracket. Stop mythologizing money. And stop criticizing wealth as if that somehow makes you virtuous. You'd trade places in 60 seconds.

The most billionaires are billionaires cause they making my life better

Except for the people of course who are good at making use of it to help society. What do you suggest? We give the money to the people who are poor and have proven they can’t handle money!? What a stupid idea. Compassion is the only way to help others, not socialism!

Facts! That's why I say, as long as the global economy's concerned, the problem is not people working hard. The problem is that billionaires exist. Don't get me wrong, people should work hard. But there is a limit to the money you make. Cross that line & you become an exploiter

I’ll never forget the rice example of how much a billion is… I wish that guy well✨✨✨ But yea a billionaire would be able to house everyone and still be a billionaire.

It's not cash on hand. Musk, Bezos, Huang get their valuation from the controlling interest they have in their companies--like 13% of Amazon, 10% of Tesla, 3.5% of Nvidia. It's bricks and mortar, not cash. They'd have to take cash from people to sell it to have the cash.

Nobody needs more than a 500 sq foot apartment and a diet of rice/beans. Turns out what somebody “needs” is completely subjective. How about I decide what I need and you decide what you need. Deal?

// If you stacked 1 billion (100 dollar bills each) it would “lil bro” Mount Everest by 6000 feet

Wait so it would take me 31 years to count to 1 billion

idk i think 1 billion (or 999.99 million for psychological purposes) in hard currency is a fine cut-off to have. reason: it's an amount of money you'd be unable to ever spend, while being able to do everything imaginable; unless you do something extraordinarily stupid.

idk I do lowkey....
