Codex doesn't lock you into OpenAI models. Tibo Tibo on why: "If you are part of this community and building an excellent coding harness, why would you couple it to your model? That felt quite disappointing, to make that decision. It didn't feel right. And it's open source in the first place. It would have been trivial for anyone to fork it. But then you're encouraging people to go and use that fork, and now suddenly you have overhead and the only reason you have a fork is because you wanted to change 10 lines of code to add support for another model provider. That feels very silly. So why not just support it in the first place? The other thing is we benefit a lot from being able to give optionality. Maybe today you love using OpenAI models and you're super productive with them, but tomorrow there's a new model that comes out and you want to try that. Why force you to completely change your setup just to try a new model? Optionality is very important to companies that we work with. And this is something that we absolutely lean into."

Kris Kringle arrived on Boxing Day in what can only be described as a heartbreaking state. Riddled with mange, no hair, skin and bone, and absolutely terrified of humans, it was clear he has known only hardship in his short time on this earth so far. Since then, Kris has been in Quarantine 5, right next to Louise’s office. For days he has stayed tightly curled beneath his blankets, only lifting his head to eat. With temperatures now dropping to –2°C tonight and possibly –4°C tomorrow, we’ve made the decision to move him into recovery, where it’s warm, safe, and cosy. Right now, Kris doesn’t want to interact with us at all. He’s so frightened that he won’t even look at us — but that’s okay. He doesn’t need to trust us yet. He just needs time. It won’t take long for Kris to learn that he will never be hurt again, that no one here will raise a hand to him, and that from now on, he will only ever be shown kindness, patience, and love. Gaur strays into a dense industrial area at Taloja MIDC Panvel. The Panvel Forest Department responded immediately and swung into action by limiting movement in the area to ensure no untoward incident. With no option to provide it safe passage, the Panvel Forest Department alerted the RESQ CT team to respond at the location to assist them in translocating him to a safer place. Our team reached there at 5 pm and immediately begun strategising the best option to capture him with minimal stress. Lucky for us all, he moved into a secure factory premise, limiting his movement and preventing any potential harm to himself or public. During this time, a ramp was constructed with the help of a JCB to facilitate its entry into a large truck that was enriched quickly to make it look green and conducive luring him in. Once everything was in place, the #Gaur was driven towards it. He cooperated incredibly as he walked right in and stayed calm. The teams immediately set off on their road journey to release in a safe habitat. The rescue and release process went off smoothly with absolutely no complications, all thanks to the incredible coordination between the Forest Department and RESQ team on ground. As we had done several training and awareness sessions together, teamwork last evening was like dream work! In the end, what we are happiest about is the minimal stress the animal was put through in the entire process that was managed like clockwork! #wildlife #wildliferescue #Maharashtra

Here’s Tesla Europe, Middle East & Africa FSD taking on the worst Dutch car city: Hilversum. Had 2 semi interventions: didn’t disengage but had to make it go manually: 1. Nav was pointing straight but the car chose a right-only lane, forced a lane change indicator and gas and it readjusted 2. Roundabout w split lane failed: was supposed to go straight but hugged a right only lane, used gas manually and it readjusted 3. Small issue: It parked perfectly into a tight space but didn’t fully go into the stall It also seems to ignore the “I have right of way” when it comes to bicycles that have a clear yield sign. This makes sense for safety. I’m biased because I’ve been driving FSD for 7 years in the US. For people who have this as their first experience - minds will be blown. This is absolutely next level and all European car brands will suddenly realize how far behind they are. The future is autonomous and I can’t wait until this rolls out EU wide.

So the sports halls full of vaccine prickers were completely in conflict with the use of which the vaccines had been administered by the EMA. To assess the safety of the vaccines, it was essential for the EMA that side effects would be properly registered. And the EMA says about this, we expect many reports of side effects that occur during or shortly after vaccination.
