Absolutely WILD finish in Monticello! Unity completes a long touchdown pass on the last play, but it’s negated by an ineligible man downfield and the game ends there. Sages move onto state 23-20

People will say it was a controversial call. Pretty basic stuff here. Can’t have trips to one side of the field with the tight end on that same side running a route.

I think the ref should have let that one go. That’s where refs just get out of the way most of the time. The agony.

I’m seeing the 5 lineman all near the qb. The flag is thrown at the 8 yard line. Something seems a bit off

That flag is thrown so far from the actual line.if I lineman was there then holy hell. But you talking about maybe being like a half yard over the line… crazy they called that

Correct call. Tight End was covered by another receiver on the line of scrimmage making him ineligible. He ran a route down field making it illegal man down field. Fact

The part that everyone is missing here is that there should have been an untimed down for Unity. He caught the ball in the end zone so the two options are: Unity TD (declined penalty) or an untimed down (after the penalty was accepted). Obviously Monticello would accept penalty

Feel terrible for everyone who had Unity -2.5

@WCIA3sports Which team is the Sages??
