Accessibility is so beautiful man I stumbled upon this vid recently I think it's pretty neat

the vast majority of products that make a lot of people go "why is everyone so lazy?" are also really just accessibility products being wide marketed, so that they can make additional money, to stay in business.

if you go back and watch a lot of old "as seen on tv" infomercials its wild how many of them are just accessibility aids

There’s a lady I watch on Instagram who makes “accessible friendly meals” so there’s no cutting, no stove, and could be done sitting down. This vid here also does a great job at showing why accessibility is needed

This looks like a much more convenient solution compared to my current one of covering all of my countertops in rat glue traps

Accessibility is important, but it is also cool. I am able and I want one of these.

I had a small sticky pad that I used after shoulder surgery to hold things down while I worked them one handed. There are amazing products out there invented by amazing people.

That's pretty rad! I don't struggle with grabbing/handling things but for those who do this is an awesome product!

I would assume it is a vacuum hold down table of sorts. This requires the bottom of the object to be of certain geometry and nature, but still very clever.

For stuck lids on jars. upend. grab upside jar and gently tap the lid on your floor. tap all around the lid for several rounds. I tend to do at least 4-5 rounds. right side up that jar. try to turn the lid. it should spin. If not repeat the tapping. WORKS EVERY TIME! art course👍

This is not neat, this is fucking awesome and a help to people who need these tools for daily life

if you slap a rubber band around the lid, it'll be a hundred times easier and cheaper to open a jar btw

Great device. I use my hand exoskeleton but the battery holds not infinity.
