According to Silvy, while Arlington Heights is the preferred destination for the Bears new stadium, there could be a decision to move to Northwest Indiana at the end of February or early March

@WaddleandSilvy A cookie cutter dome in Indiana to host one Super Bowl in maybe 15-20 years 😂

@WaddleandSilvy I must be the only fan who would renounce my fandom of the Bears if they move out of state. I don’t care how far over the border they just aren’t my team anymore, I’ll just wait and root for whatever team replaces them in the Chicago market and adopt them as my new team

It's leverage and it's not. I still think that if Illinois came hard and serious with an offer for Arlington Heights, the Bears would go there - regardless of the offer from Indiana. BUT. Indiana's offer is already outrageously good for the Bears. If Illinois doesn't make a serious counter, it's a no brainer for them to move forward with Indiana.

@WaddleandSilvy The Chicago Bears would be idiots to stay in Illinois. It would be a terrible financial decision.

@MrDelicious13 @WaddleandSilvy 49ers don’t play in SF, Cowboys don’t play in Dallas, commanders don’t play in DC, Jets and Giants don’t play in New York, bills don’t play in Buffalo. Get over yourselves, lots of teams do this, you’ll pound sand for 15 minutes and then get over it.

@WaddleandSilvy Indiana wont be as bad as some anticipate. Especially if they stay close to the state line right near the skyway. Still on the lake and right by the casinos would be nice.

@WaddleandSilvy Estimated cook county annual property taxes for the completed stadium… $85m to $225m Indy is a done deal.

@wiltfongjr @WaddleandSilvy Indiana is prepared to shower the Bears with multi millions in tax breaks and infrastructure. While Illinois state legislator has done zero. I don’t blame the Bears one bit.

@WaddleandSilvy Enjoying the stadium talk. I prefer they stay here but Indiana isn't that crazy like people say. NY teams play in NJ and no one cares. Bears history is cool, but didn't they start in Decatur, maybe they should try there Either way I will probably be priced out anyways.

@WaddleandSilvy This is exactly why I figured would happen. The state can’t get out of their own way, Indiana will give a deal too good to pass on and they’ll be in NWI

@WaddleandSilvy The same people who constantly bitch about Illinois’ high taxes are now pissed that Illinois politicians refuse to spend $855 million on infrastructure improvements or freeze taxes on the AH property so that every other Cook County resident doesn’t have to subsidize the Bears.

@WaddleandSilvy Nobody should be blaming the Bears for moving to Indy! Blame yourself and friends who continue to re-elect the same incompetent politicians in Cook Co and the State.

@WaddleandSilvy Thanks to the pathetic f-ks in Springfield & Chicago, companies and people have been moving out - their solutions: more taxes, allow fraud to continue, fund Illegals and F- the IL citizens- can’t blame the Bears - it will be a sad Day

@WaddleandSilvy I mean the lakefront is the only real acceptable one that these guys moved on from way to fast. If they want to go to Indiana it’s easy as a fan, they are no longer the Chicago bears. Like if I was the city I would take that away and denounce the team for all this goofiness

@WaddleandSilvy At the end of the day, owning an NFL team is a business. The goal of a business is to make good financial decisions, not make worry what fans will think if you move across the border. If the better business deal is in Indiana, why would they stay in Illinois?

@WaddleandSilvy Don’t blame them. IL has some of the highest taxes in the country 🤷‍♂️ why not move 30 miles and make way more money for everyone ie players, coaches, staff, owner
