With Türkiye’s support, maritime security will be strengthened, resources will be protected, and the fishing sector will be transformed into a sustainable source of income. Through this cooperation, Somalia will bring its natural wealth into the economy, increase employment, raise the standard of living of its people, and take an important step toward building its future on its own terms.

Why should Somalia be expected to adopt every Turkish policy, especially when a particular policy conflicts with Somalia’s own national interests? Please stop using this kind of rhetoric. It creates unnecessary tension between Somalis and Turks and gives those hostile to both countries exactly what they want.

The overwhelming majority of #Somalis never said Siad Barre destroyed #Somalia. The narrative that Said Barre did such an act was invented and propagated by minorities, some who made a career out of pushing this narrative like Senator Samatar. The irony here is that #Israel dismembered #Somalia while Samatar is a sitting senator and the very HSM he supported on May 15, 2022 is sitting in Villa Somalia. There are plenty of lessons of Do's and Don's in the 21 years Siad Barre ruled Somalia But during Senator Samatar and HSM in Villa Somalia had been an unmitigated disaster, a dark era when country was dismembered by Israel.

The 🇫🇷 French Carrier Strike Group FS Charles de Gaulle and escorts, including HMS Dragon are patrolling in the northwest of the Indian Ocean. You know the old saying: “A wounded lion is more dangerous than a healthy one.” After somaliland big defeat in Goojacade, Sool in 2023 and several other losses over the past three years, Somaliland has realized they cannot win a military fight against the unionist forces in Sool (north west Somalia) So now they have switched tactics. They are setting traps and plotting against Somali people both inside Somalia and around the world especially in Mogadishu and other major cities like lasanod. They are working with countries & right wing that are against Somalia to turn international opinion against the Somalis. Inside Somalia, they are doing the same thing. Since their defeat in Sool, Mogadishu has become much safer. Al Shabaab has also lost a lot of its power there because many of its top leaders are from Somaliland. Now, Somalilanders are stirring up trouble in Mogadishu. They are using money to bribe half Isaaq/ Hawiye, Darood, and Dir youth in order words youth from issaq mothers to create violence and fights between peaceful communities like we saw in sanaag and sool. Stories like public harassment of girl in stadium which happened in Mogadishu last week, the perpetrators were paid to do that crime in public which was part of their propaganda against Somalia and to further promote their case in western world as being the good Somalis. All Somalis both inside the country and in the diaspora need to stay alert and watch out for these plots and traps.
