While Stadium is a ton of fun, we don't plan to make it the primary esports game mode. But we do plan to continue to experiment with different competitive events like the Stadium Showdowns in both Asia and DreamHack Dallas, as well as the show match at Champions Clash.

I don’t get why people don’t embrace stadium more if they’re more competitive? It just enables so much more creative gameplay that Overwatch has lost over the years.
