That crystal could be the same rock that Rayquaza ate that made it develop the mikado organ. The sundial and the rocks Rayquaza ate, both originated from space, and both cause mega evolution in their own ways. Also this is more of a loose connection but we technically don’t know what the material of the crystal-looking-pieces of the ultimate weapon are made of either🤔 They could all be the same gemstone/meteorite, rich in infinity energy and that came from outer space.
