ACL Friday! ACL surgery set up that does not require a leg holder and does not require dropping the leg below the level of the bed. Also can be performed w/a single lateral side post.

Are you drilling low AM for femoral tunnel or flip cutting? Definitely a nice setup for low AM easy to hyperflex and control the leg

Depends on the case/graft but can do it either way w/this set up.

I use the same setup + contralateral pelvic support, especially in thin patients bec. with valgus stress the pelvis will be shifted to the other side, ending up with the knee falling on side support at 90 deg. Flexion.

Yeah, not a fan of dropping the foot or using a leg holder. Dropping the foot has my infection Spidey-senses tingling and using a leg holder overly constrains the leg while I move it around. 👍🏿
