Yes, kids are going on a strike with Union teachers and activists! Teachers are openly calling for the country to mobilize against Trump, ICE, capitalism, and U.S. policy. That’s not education. The students at the Philadelphia High School of Performing Arts walked out because of a new dress code. No plunging necklines, back lines, midriffs, short shorts. Students are taken out of class if they violate the code and their parents are called to bring appropriate clothing. This is all in spite of a school district wide rule that children cannot be taken out of class because of clothing. Does the school district or the school have to change their policy? What is your opinion on dress codes?
