She blocked me instead of confronting her internalized misogyny 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I get what you’re trying to say but is it not really insensitive to say this about someone venting about feeling unsafe to express herself

Yeah I don’t have to be nice about people stereotyping women but in a “woke” manner sorry. This post has thousands of likes and it’s spreading harmful rhetoric.

Whether you like it or not they’re are some mannerisms more often associated with femininity that many trans women adopt or imitate, plus policing the language of a struggling girl in an abusive household isn’t a moral victory or whatever, you’re just an insensitive pedant

Now say this about any other minority.

Oh cmon don’t hit me with that false equivalency bullshit

It’s literally not a false equivalence. Women behaving a certain way based on “biological factors” has been a thing used to oppress them for ages. The same way stereotypes are 😑. Theres a reason that people rush to say we can’t have a women president because she might get her-

Period and act erratic. Women don’t act a “certain way”. If you think they do, you need to check yourself

I don’t think women inherently act a certain way, I said that there are mannerisms associated with femininity

Wouldn’t voice training be more fitting for the clip?

The clip is about stereotyping. Women are not predisposed to behave a certain way the same way black people aren’t predisposed to sound a certain way. However, women typically have higher pitched voices and trans women wanting to copy that to pass better isn’t offensive

The way people sound is based on where they grew up. There is such a thing as a “blaccent” (as evident from the clip) but assuming all black people use it is wrong. A good example is black people growing up in China would have Chinese accents.

When talking about men and women, biologically speaking, a typical man will have a deeper voice caused by puberty. It’s a biologically thing. Trans women can train themselves to reverse it but it’s pretty hard. So yes, women and men sound different (though there are outliers)

Saying she’s boymoding is misogynistic? She’s not acting in accordance to her authentic inner version of womanhood so she can fit in with men. So, in the most basic sense, she’s ‘not acting like a woman.’ She’s not acting out her inner version of femininity.

there are ways to act like a woman, dont play dumb now

Not playing dumb. There are traits associated with femininity, but the phrase “acting like a woman” is problematic. It reinforces stereotypes. Not only that, but it’s a negative mindset for any trans woman to experience. She should not have to change her behavior and-

Personality just to be accepted as the gender she is. When you start comparing behavior and labeling certain traits as “women” behavior, you not only hurt other women but yourself

Do you know what it feels to think the way you’re acting makes people see you as one gender instead of the gender you want?

How is it misogynistic to want to act in a way that will make people see you more as a woman

🐯GPB🐯#DavidFNAFTWT 👀 的头像
🐯GPB🐯#DavidFNAFTWT 👀1 个月前

It’s misogynistic to presume women act a certain way and then post it publicly. It reinforces negative stereotypes. If you want to act more feminine, that’s okay. But there is no “acting like a women.” You are a women, trans or not, if that’s how to identify

Is dressing in a feminine way and speaking in a feminine voice misogynistic too? Thats also “acting as a woman”

Hey, I never said that. Infact, I even said I encourage voice training in other comments. “Acting like a woman” refers to personality traits. Some negative ones would include being emotional, sensitive, or dumb. Of course, it’s possible that op didn’t mean those traits-

But that’s what the phrase “acting like a woman” is usually used for. Wearing dresses and feminine voice training can be shared between either gender. It’s not acting any which way
