The SRC, together with the Rent Control Unit led by the acting Rent Commissioner, embarked on a peaceful engagement with selected hostel managements to discuss the reasons behind the outrageous hostel charges imposed on students. The hostels visited were: 1.⁠ ⁠Victory Towers Hostel 2.⁠ ⁠Liendaville Hostel 3.⁠ ⁠St. Theresa’s Hostel The SRC remains committed to championing the welfare of students and continuing the fight against unfair hostel pricing on and off campus.
