Ubeke kahle u Zwakele Mncwango, and the IEC must carry this message as part of their voter education. The first allocation is determined by the quota, while the second is based on the highest remainder. The formula is the same across Provincial, National and Regional levels.

@ZicabangeleM The man who didn't get even half of the seat in parliament is doing maths

0,5 can be rounded off to 1 but 0,45 can’t be rounded off to 1. Musani ukudlala ngathi la.

@Flet56109823 He is wrong! He rounded the NFP fraction to .50 thus not 1. NFP would not qualify. All other fractions were rounding closer to 1. Therefore, with the final remainder, the EFF should have received 3 seats. As NFP would have fallen off the threshold.

This is something which IEC WAS SUPPOSED TO TEACH the masses before we vote, but nice.

Lets wait for the MK experts in court 😂😂MK mathematicians are coming please😂

Mathematics says To round a number to the nearest 10, check the ones digit to decide whether to round up or down. If it is 5 or more, round up. If 4 or less, round down so asingadakelwa.

NFP doesn't qualify for a seat period ... As he said maths is not his thing

Well explained though for NFP remainder he dd struggle. All parties below NFP didn't get more than 0.451 remainder. Dey got less..so der is no need 2 round off. De remaining seats get allocated based on the highest remainders. No rounding off. RM could have 0.450 but no seat.

O,45 can never be rounded off to 0.5, then round of 0,5 to one. It's not make sure. 0,5 will be rounded of to 1 and 0,499 to 0. Period
