Many of my anti-establishment friends flipped in 2020. It was wild to witness. People I grew up with that didn't trust anything govt said suddenly believed everything was true. Didn't even question anything.

This phenomenon is best explained with game theory. If you are an actor who wants to keep working in Hollywood, voicing support for the Dem. nominee is the best way to stay on the short list and get future roles. A Kamala endorsement is worth tens of millions to a big actor. Keeping quiet is the second best career strategy but that means always being totally apolitical. One can’t speak out about politics and also not endorse, people will get suspicious. Endorsing Trump is of course total career suicide in Hollywood…not an option for anyone not already a deca- or centa-millionaire. We took our 4 daughters on a field trip yesterday to a very popular Industry brunch place in Studio City. They surveyed everyone in and around the restaurant, Trump or Harris. Interestingly, 26% admitted out loud to supporting Trump. In Hollywood. Our kids also asked them why they support who they do and the responses were a blast. See notes below:
