Tbh it’s both cus yes, him killing off Chalice was part of the promise if that promise failed but that scene also played out as a fake-out cus of the way it was structured

Why was the devil a demon to everyone except specifically the cup bros and santa

Wish he was more like this in the show so evil and intelligent love it

this scene reminded me that the devil is still the devil

I mean, I Kinda expected it because, before this scene, the Devil said “And if we HADN’T made a deal, what kind of condition do you think you’d be in right now? Well let’s just see what that might look like, shall we?”
