AD is a cool defender… But I’ve seen Bam Adebayo lock up Steph Curry on multiple occasions and still not get any respect from the league. If there’s one person who deserves DPOY, it’s Bam. No other big in the league can defend like him.

Bam Adebayo, constantly switching onto elite ball-handlers… And constantly shuts them down. No big in the NBA can switch & hang quite like Bam. So many lazy jumpers settled for because it’s near impossible to create space on him one-on-one. Unique gift.

He jumped me in Paris for what I said on TV. Tatum was not playing. I was explaining on TV, I don't see how Tatum is going to play unless like somebody else doesn't play. And I was like, you know, maybe like Bam Adebayo. So I said that on American TV and the next day we were in Paris or actually we were in Lille, France and Bam was like ‘Really? I'm not going to play? No disrespect to Bam Adebayo, but this 83-point performance won’t be remembered with as much respect as Kobe’s 81… 1. Bam shot 43 FTs 2. Bam was still in the game with 1:40 left & Heat up 25, still chasing Kobe 3. Heat fouled up 27 so Bam could break Kobe’s record 4. Bam in the final 3 min: 0-1 FG, 6 FTs 83 points is an amazing accomplishment, but if feels fraudulent. Argue in the comments…
